Yoga For Healthy Eyes

 


Eyes are the most important part of our body. It is through our eyes that we can see this beautiful world, recognize colors. If our eyes are beautiful, our face also looks attractive. But if our eyesight becomes weak, we start having poor eyesight, and the beauty of the face also fades due to wearing thick glasses. We can do all the work properly through our eyes. Therefore, it is very important for us to take proper care of it. Working on the computer all day, watching TV for long hours, or studying for long hours not only makes our eyes tired, but the stress also affects our eyesight. Many times it happens that staying awake till late night or working for hours becomes our compulsion to earn money. In such a situation, the muscles around our eyes lose their flexibility and become hard. As a result, vision problems occur at an early age. You must have always heard that we get many health benefits from yoga. Let us tell you that yoga is also very beneficial for the eyes. Let us know how yoga is beneficial for the eyes.

Yogasanas for healthy eyes

Increase eyesight with Shavasana- To do Shavasana, first lie down on your back.
While doing the asana, keep your mind in a calm state. After this, leave your legs loose and keep your hands close to the body and keep them on the side. Your whole body should be stable on the floor. Doing this asana regularly removes body fatigue and gives relief to the eyes and also increases eyesight.

Anulom Vilom is also beneficial- To do Anulom Vilom Pranayama, sit in a palanquin. Both your waist and neck should be straight. Now close your eyes.
Now take your right hand to the nostrils. Now keeping your middle fingers straight, close the right nostril (nose hole) with the thumb. And slowly exhale from the left nostril. After exhaling, start inhaling from the left nostril only. After inhaling as much as possible, close the left nostril with the help of fingers and remove the thumb from the right nostril and slowly exhale from the right nostril. Repeat this process for 3 to 5 minutes. Doing this asana relieves mental stress. Removes tiredness of the eyes and increases vision.

If you are wearing glasses, then do Tratak Asana-
If you are wearing glasses of very high power and the number is continuously increasing, then doing Tratak Asana will be beneficial for you.
And even if you are not wearing glasses, after doing Tratak Asana you will not have to wear glasses. This asana is done in the dark, so night time is better. If you do it during the day, then close the room and make it dark. Light a candle in the room and sit in front of the candle in Pranayam posture. Now keep staring at the candle without blinking. After this, close your eyes and chant Om and then open your eyes. Do this process at least 3 times. At last, rub your palms together and then open your eyes by touching your eyes with that warm palm. Keep in mind that while opening your eyes, your gaze should be on your nose only. Do this asana at least 3 times a week.
