Introduction

Urad Dal is produced all over India. The colour of its dal is white. Its dal and millet roti are the favourite food of hardworking people. It is nutritious and cool.
Urad Pak is very famous due to its nutritious properties. Its dal causes gas. To remove this defect, garlic and asafoetida should be added in sufficient quantity to urad. Animals remain healthy by feeding urad. By feeding urad to a milk-giving cow or buffalo, they give more milk. The powder of its leaves and stalks is also fed to animals.

Properties

Urad is a nutritious dal. It is heavy, tasty, beneficial for stool (faeces) patients, increases thirst, increases strength, increases semen, is very nutritious, frees stool and urine, increases the milk of a lactating mother and increases obesity.
Urad increases bile and phlegm. It is also beneficial to consume its dal in piles, arthritis, paralysis and asthma.

Treatment for various diseases

1. Power booster:

Urad has the property of increasing power (Shaktivardhak). Using urad in any way increases power.
Soak 30 grams of urad dal in water at night and in the morning grind it and drink it mixed with milk and sugar candy. It is very beneficial for the brain and semen. Keep in mind: Only those with good digestive power should use it. Eating urad with peel increases flesh. Adding asafoetida to urad dal increases its properties. Grinding soaked urad dal and mixing it with one spoon of Desi ghee and half spoon of honey and then licking it and drinking milk mixed with sugar candy is beneficial. By using it continuously, a man becomes as strong as a horse.

Soak urad dal in water and grind it. Add salt, black pepper, asafoetida, cumin seeds, garlic and ginger to it and make `Bade´ (a dish). Eating these Bade in ghee or oil cures flatulence, weakness, tastelessness, T.B.
and pain. Grinding urad dal, mixing it with curd and frying it increases the strength and potency of men.

Take 500 grams of urad dal flour, 500 grams of wheat flour and 500 grams of pepper powder and add 100 grams of ghee to it and cook it on the stove and make laddus weighing 40-40 grams.
Eat one laddu at night before sleeping and drink 250 ml of milk on top of it. Sour, salty and oily things should not be consumed while using it so that the body does not become weak and physical strength increases.

2. White spots:

Soak and grind urad flour and apply it on white spots regularly for four months.

3. Baldness:

Boil urad dal and grind it. Apply it on the head at night before sleeping. This gradually removes baldness and new hair starts growing.

4. Masculine power:

Eating one urad laddu daily and then drinking milk increases semen, strengthens the semen and increases sexual power (intercourse).

5. Hiccups:

Put whole urad on burnt coal and smell its smoke. This ends hiccups. Mix urad and asafoetida powder and burn it in fire and smoke it, this is beneficial in hiccups.

6. Nosebleed, headache:

Soaking and grinding black gram dal and applying it on the forehead cures nosebleed and headache caused by heat.

7. Boils:

If thick pus comes out of the boil, then tying a bandage of black gram is beneficial.

8. Semen discharge with urine:

Take 10 to 15 grams of black gram flour and boil it in cow's milk, then add ghee to it and drink it warm for 7 days continuously, this stops discharge of semen with urine.

9. Frequent urination:

Drinking Indian gooseberry juice with honey or gooseberry juice with Javakshaar stops frequent urination. If one spoon of Indian gooseberry juice is consumed by mixing half spoon of turmeric and one spoon of honey, then it gives full benefit.

10. Impotence:

By grinding 40 grams of black gram dal and mixing it with honey and ghee and eating it, a man becomes capable of having sex in a few days.

Make some laddus of black gram dal. Eat two laddus each and drink milk on top of it.
This cures impotence.

11. Hair diseases:

Grind 200 grams of black gram dal, 100 grams of amla, 50 grams of shikakai, 25 grams of fenugreek and filter it. Soak 25 grams of this mixture in 200 ml water for an hour and then churn and filter it and wash the hair, this is beneficial in hair diseases.


Boil black gram dal and grind it and apply it on the bald spot of the head at night before sleeping. This makes the hair grow.

12. Increase in milk in breasts:

Eating urad dal mixed with ghee increases milk in the breasts of women.

13. Weakness:

Eating urad dal laddu every morning and drinking milk on top reduces weakness.

14. Increase in obesity:

Eating urad dal with its peel makes the body fat.

15. All types of pain:

Make urad dal badiya (pakoras) by cooking it in oil, then eating these badiyas by adding honey and desi ghee gives relief in `Annadrav Shoola´ i.e. pain caused by grains.

16. Nosebleed:

Soak urad dal and grind it. Applying this ground dal on the forehead stops nosebleed (nose bleeding).

17. Arthritis (Joint Pain):

By boiling black gram dal with castor bark and chewing the boiled black gram dal, the weakness inside the bones in arthritis is cured.

18. Acne:

Soak the peeled urad and masoor dal in milk in the morning. Grind it very finely in the evening and add a few drops of lemon juice and a few drops of honey and mix well to make a paste.
Then apply this paste on the face. Wash it with warm water in the morning. By doing this continuously for a few days, acne and spots on the face go away and a new glow appears on the face.

Headache:

Soak the urad dal in water and swell it. Grind it and apply it on the head as a paste to get rid of headache.

20. Weak memory:


Soak about 60 grams of urad dal in water at night before sleeping. Grind this dal in the morning and drink it by mixing milk and sugar candy. Memory becomes strong and weakness of the brain ends.

21. White spots disappear.

Grind black urad and apply it on white spots 3-4 times a day. The color of white spots starts to become like the rest of the body.
