Easy Yoga for Acidity
Matsyasana - Matsya means fish. Because while doing this asana, the body has to be kept like a fish, hence it is called Matsyasana. To do Matsyasana, first spread a mat on the ground and sit in Padmasana. Now lift the back from the ground and take the head back so much that the top of the head touches the ground. After this, hold the thumb of the left foot with the right hand and then the thumb of the right foot with the left hand. Put your knees on the ground and raise the back part so that only the knees and the head part of the body touch the ground. Regularly practicing this asana removes the problem of gas and acidity and constipation is eliminated and appetite increases. It also improves digestion.
Sarvangasana- In Sarvangasana, all the parts of the body are exercised simultaneously, that is why this asana is named Sarvangasana. To do this, lie down on your back on a mat spread on a flat ground and keep both your hands close to the body. And after this, slowly lift both the legs upwards. Straighten the whole body by making a right angle with the neck and touch the chin to the chest. After reaching this position, take at least ten deep breaths and then slowly bring the legs down. Doing Sarvangasana leads to complete development of the body and increases the activity of the thyroid glands. Along with this, regular practice of this asana also increases blood circulation and improves digestion power. Which gives relief from the problem of gas and acidity.
Bhujangasana - To do Bhujangasana, first lie down on the stomach with the face downwards and then leave the body completely loose. After this, place the palms on the ground in the space between the shoulders and elbows and slowly raise the part from the navel to the front like a snake's hood. Now pull the toes backwards, so that the fingers start touching the ground. Stay in this position for some time and do it at least four times. Regular practice of Bhujangasana does not cause gas, constipation etc. in the stomach. Apart from this, this asana also provides relief from problems related to neck, shoulders, spine.
