Yoga For Headache

 


Headaches have become a common thing in today's busy life. People of all ages often complain about it. Sometimes headache starts in the office itself. This happens due to continuously sitting in front of the computer and keeping eyes fixed. Usually headache occurs due to fatigue or hunger. But sometimes the reason behind it can also be weakness of the eyes. Therefore, if you are often troubled by headache, then this yogasana is of use to you. This will eliminate your headache problem from the root. So let's know-

Yoga to get rid of migraine

Vajrasana - With the help of Vajrasana, you can get relief from headache. And even if you have migraine, it gives you relief. Doing Vajrasana strengthens the body. Vajrasana can also be done some time after eating food.
To do this, wait for some time after eating. Then spread the mat on a flat place and sit on it by bending your knees.

Your sitting position should be such that the toes of the feet are facing backwards and the buttocks are between the two heels.
Now keep the thumbs of both your feet together. Also keep in mind that there should be a gap between the heels.

After this, keep both your hands on the knees.

At this time your body should be completely straight.
Now leave the hands and body loose.

After this, keep the eyes closed and do the work of inhaling and exhaling. Sit in this position for some time.

Do this asana every day after eating. This asana is not only beneficial for headache but also for stomach related diseases.


Sheetali Pranayama-
Sheetali Pranayama is also a great way to get rid of the problem of headache. It keeps the mind calm. To practice this asana-

First of all, sit on the ground in Sukhasana position.

After this, take out the tongue and take a deep breath from the mouth.
You have to breathe in such a way that the air enters the body through the tongue.

After this, close your mouth and exhale through your nostrils. Repeat this process 8-10 times.

This is considered a very good remedy for headache.


Anulom Vilom Pranayama- You must have often noticed that sometimes along with headache, you also have pain in the stomach and back. Actually this pain is caused by gas in the stomach. If you have a headache due to gas, then do Anulom Vilom Pranayama.


To do this, first sit in Sukhasana or Padmasana. Always start and end with the left nostril.

First close the right nostril and take a long breath from the left. Then close the left, exhale long from the right. Now take a long breath from the right and exhale from the left.


You have to keep the same right-right, left-left order. Repeat this process for 10-15 minutes.

Starting from three minutes, this pranayam can be done for 10 minutes.
