Introduction:-
Due to any type of injury or wound on the head, the natural state of the brain is affected. This is called 'Insanity'. It attacks suddenly and the symptom of the disease changes.
There are four types of insanity:-
- Symptoms of paralysis with unnecessary talking.
- Decrease in mental power.
- Visad-Air.
- Insanity.
Symptoms:-
In this disease, the patient has many types of symptoms like headache, sleeplessness, sleeplessness, fear, suddenly becomes happy, crying a lot in a state of sadness, not interested in doing any work, not interested in doing anything, the impression of the face and eyes changes, the patient feels wrong, hears wrong, does not move hands and legs without his wish, the eyelids go on throbbing, boils and pimples appear on the body, there is stiffness in the body with symptoms of paralysis.
Causes:-
This disease may be caused by working too little than required, while eating and drinking, doing too much mental work, consuming intoxicants like- ganja, alcohol or cannabis, etc., ill health, much despondency or attacks of fits, taking intoxicants, etc.
In men, insanity is caused by syphilis, doing excess mental work, spinal cord disease, deep injury to the body, repeated dangerous event, improper education or reading novels of dangerous event. Mostly, it occurs in people of 25 to 40 years old.
Treatment of insanity with different medicines based on its symptoms:-
False vision:-Seeing that does not actually exist such as seeing dead person and talking about them, seeing the statue of Narasimha or hearing the conversion of gods, etc. If this type of symptoms are found in insanity patient, Hyos, IGNA, Lache, arg-ni, Cannabis Indica, Cocculus, Anahelonium, obladusus, opladus. Nux, Puls, Balleriana, Anthurus, Zinc-mur or Sulphur, etc. can be used.
Mistake or delusion in vision:- Delusion like in things relating to nature or out of the way- perceives rope as snake, feels water in desert, feels shadow as ghost, feels sound of running train as thundering, etc. Thus, for treatment of such patient, Marfinum 3, Nux-moschata 200 or Ridium 200, Dhatura, Vallinum, Hydrianum, Hydrianum, etc.
