Introduction:-
Symptoms like mental anxiety and worry ness are found in the patient of melancholia. Apart from this, the defect is in his liver or any disease occurs in the ovaries or oxalic acid is found in the urine of the patient.It can be of four types:-
Common Melancholia- Melancholia in which, the sufferer has a lot of mental sadness and believes a lot in delusions or symptoms of physical insanity are found in the sufferer, etc., is called 'Common Melancholia'. In this disease, no other symptoms are found except mental anxiety.
Acute Melancholia- In this disease, mental sadness persists in the patient for many days, symptoms of delusion are found like that- the patient believes that the crime committed by him is very serious, he is brooding about people who do not exist, he has no mental concentration, he has lack of sleep, crying, weeping, the stage is not very serious.
Chronic Melancholia- This is the stage after acute Melancholia. In this stage, the patient has mental sadness all the time, he has complete belief in delusions, he has very poor appetite, constipation is also found, yet he does not feel any discomfort; apart from them, the patient has a great desire to commit suicide. This stage is very severe.
Unconscious stage of Melancholia (Stupa)- In this stage, the patient feels anxiety in all matters with mental anxiety, he does not want to move forward if he is not done by others, he does not want to do any work with his limbs; he likes to live as dirty, saliva comes out of his mouth, mucus flies from nose like phlegm, having a desire to commit suicide, blood circulation slows down, body temperature is lower than its normal temperature. All these symptoms are temporarily present.
Treatment with different medicines based on certain symptoms:-
If the patient is suffering from Melancholia with symptoms of liver diseases, then it is very beneficial to use drugs like- Puls, Nux-vom, Merc, etc.
If the patient has symptoms related to uterine disease along with Melancholia, then drugs like- Lilium-tig, Plantina, Lachesis, Actaea racemosa, etc. should be used.
If the patient has symptoms of unconsciousness along with Melancholia, then drugs like- Vetrum, Opium, Baptisia or Helleborus, etc. can be used for the treatment of this disease.
Use of different medicines for the treatment of Melancholia:-
1. Natrum Muriaticum Acid or Oxalic Acid- In this disease, if the patient has symptoms of oxaluria coming with urine, then Natrum Muriaticum Acid or Oxalic Acid should be used for its treatment.
2. Arsenic- If the patient of Melancholia has a desire to commit suicide, then using arsenic is very beneficial.
3. Cimicifuga- Using cimicifuga 2x is very beneficial to cure symptoms like- nervous weakness, sleeplessness, restlessness, restlessness, much anxiety, symptoms of insanity with dislocation of uterus, etc.
4. Baptisia- If the patient of Melancholia has symptoms of severe fever, then Baptisia 1x should be used.
5. Platina- In case of women, Platina 6 should be used to cure Melancholia. This medicine is very useful for women who have symptoms like- great desire to commit suicide, all things or human become small for her, enthusiasm for sexual intercourse after giving birth to young.
