Introduction:-
As such, no 100% effective measures (means) have been found to prevent pregnancy. Still, there are many methods used to prevent pregnancy and couples can benefit from adopting them.
Contraception (to prevent pregnancy) means:-
- Contraceptive pills (drugs).
- I.U.D.
- Condoms.
- Defram.
- Sponges.
- Spermicides.
- Yoga.
- Applying artificial Pena Web progesterone internally.
- Use of long-acting progesterone injections.
- Having sex when there is no chance of pregnancy.
Preventing pregnancy by the following methods:-
Contraceptive pills:-
A woman should take birth control pills daily to prevent pregnancy. If she forgets to take this tablet on a particular day, she should take 2 pills the next day.
Condoms:-
A man should check for holes or holes in the condom before using it. The condom should be applied to the penis only when it is fully aroused and should be taken off before the arousal is over.
Sponge:
A sponge should be placed inside the vagina for at least 8 hours after having sex and spermicide should be used 8 hours before intercourse.
Diaphragm:-
Before inserting the diaphragm into the vagina, put a teaspoon of spermicidal medicine in its upper part and apply it on its edges as well. After inserting it into the vagina, check that it works properly.
It should be left in this way for 8 hours after having sex and then removed.
If it is desired to have intercourse within 8 hours, drip the sperm killer medicine into the vagina without removing the diaphragm from the vagina.
Harmful effects of diaphragm-
Sometimes extra bleeding occurs after the use of diaphragm and abdominal cramps can also be felt.
Copper-T-
It is a type of 'T' shaped device to prevent pregnancy which prevents sperm from entering the uterus.
Information about Copper-T-
It has to be placed inside the vagina by a specialist doctor. Sometimes bleeding and abdominal pain may occur after its use.
Medroxy Progesterone Acetate Injection-
This device has not been successful in preventing pregnancy. Every woman has to place it in her vagina once after every 3 months.
Temperature procedure-
Check the body temperature every morning before waking up and note it in the diary. When this temperature rises between 0.3 and 0.6 degrees, it means that she is going to get pregnant.
Disadvantage (Discomfort)-
It requires a long-term attention and does not work in case of illness.
