Medicinal properties of coriander

Get rid of cholesterol: Coriander contains such elements that reduce cholesterol from the body and keep it under control. If someone is suffering from high cholesterol, then he should boil coriander seeds and drink that water.


Relief from diabetes: Coriander is considered to be a madhumidan nashi i.e. it drives away diabetes. Drinking its water keeps the amount of insulin in the blood under control.

Beneficial for eyes: Coriander seeds are also beneficial for the eyes.
Crush a few coriander seeds and boil them in water. Cool this water and filter it with a thick cloth, and by dropping two drops of it in the eyes, problems like irritation, pain and watering are cured.

Effective in reducing weight: If you want to lose weight, then using coriander seeds will be beneficial.
For this, boil three tablespoons of coriander seeds in a glass of water. When the water reduces to half, filter it. Drinking this water twice a day will start reducing weight.

Digestive problems: Add a pinch of asafoetida and black salt to coriander powder and take it with water.
Its consumption relieves constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, gas, indigestion and stomach pain. You can also use it while making tea.

Increase digestion: Green coriander removes stomach problems and increases digestion power. Mixing fresh coriander leaves in buttermilk and drinking it provides relief in indigestion, nausea, dysentery and colitis.


Blood sugar: Coriander powder reduces the sugar level in the body and increases the amount of insulin. Due to this, blood sugar remains controlled in the body. Therefore, definitely use it in your food.

Heartburn: Grind cumin, belgiri and nagarmotha in equal quantities and mix it with coriander powder.
Take this powder with 1 teaspoon of water. This will make the heartburn and pain in the stomach disappear.

Weakness: Soak coriander and amla powder in 10-10 grams of water at night. Drinking it in the morning will remove the problem of weakness and dizziness.


Best cure for acne: Coriander is also beneficial for the skin. Mix turmeric powder in coriander juice and apply it on the face, and wash it after some time. Using this paste twice a day will get rid of acne and blemishes very quickly and will also enhance the beauty of the face.
In case of heat rash, one should take bath with coriander water.

Get rid of stomach diseases:
If you have any stomach related problem, then add coriander seeds, cumin, tea leaves and sugar in two cups of water and mix well. Drinking this water gives relief from acidity. In case of stomach ache, adding two teaspoons of coriander seeds in half a glass of water and drinking it gives relief from stomach ache.
