Ayurvedic Treatment For Excess Milk in Breasts

 


Introduction:

Sometimes when the child is not able to drink the milk completely from the mother's breasts, then it becomes difficult to dry or reduce this milk, then this milk itself becomes a disease of the breasts. Treatment with various medicines- 1. Camphor: Make a paste by grinding camphor, then apply this paste on the breasts and consume one-fourth gram of it, the blocked milk of the woman's breasts dries up. 2. Giloy: Make a decoction of Giloy or Guruch and give it to the mother of the child, it purifies the breasts. 3. Betel Leaf: By slightly heating the betel leaves and tying them on the breasts, the swelling on the breasts due to excess milk ends. 4. Dhatura: Mixing Dhatura leaves with turmeric and tying them on the breasts removes the swelling in the breast. By heating the leaves of Dhatura and tying them on the breasts, the excess milk in the breasts gradually dries up. 5. Narkat: Grind the root of Narkat (Narsal) and make a decoction and consume 40 grams of it 3 times a day as a dose, the flow of milk and less menstruation stops. 6. Mogra: Grind the flowers of Mogra (Motiya Bela) thoroughly and tie them on the breasts of a mother who has given birth to a child, the swelling of the breasts and the flow of milk stops. 7. Arhar: Grind the leaves and pulses of Arhar (Rahari, Shahar) together, heat them a little and apply them on the breasts, the milk stops. Grind the pulse of Arhar and apply it on the breasts like a paste, the swelling in the breasts goes away. 8. Lentil: Grind lentil, kahu seeds and cumin seeds in vinegar and apply on the breasts of a woman, it reduces the milk. Note: This should be consumed only by mothers whose children are unable to drink the entire milk from the breasts. 9. Fennel: Make powder by mixing 250 grams of clean fennel, 250 grams of sugar and 250 grams of asparagus. Then, adding 10 to 15 grams of this in hot milk and drinking it twice a day after every 3 hours increases the milk in the breasts.
