Living life is not the only aim of a human being, but it is also necessary to live a happy and healthy life. By adopting some tips of Ayurveda, you can live a happy and healthy life. It is believed that by following them regularly.

• Leave the bed in the morning between Brahmamuhurta (4-6 am) i.e. before sunrise.

• Drink water kept in a copper vessel overnight before brushing teeth and defecation in the morning, this helps in easy bowel movement and there is no complaint of constipation.


• Always eat breakfast or food a little less than hunger and eat only suitable food and avoid the habit of drinking water along with food.

• The behavior done intentionally, unintentionally or in an uncontrolled manner in daily routine is considered as a crime of wisdom, avoid it because it is the cause of all types of physical and mental diseases.


• Food itself is a medicine, hence controlling the senses and doing other activities including eating helps in staying healthy.

• According to Ayurveda, intake of pure water and air is the way to get rid of diseases.

• Consumption of cow's milk in food is considered to be life-giving in Ayurveda and it is itself a chemical medicine, regular consumption of which delays old age.


• Daily consumption of one harad (Indian myrobalan) gives a long life, it is also said that 'mother can get angry sometimes but not the Indian myrobalan.'

• Once a year, the body machine must be purified under the guidance of a Panchkarma doctor, so that a long and disease-free life is achieved.


• To increase the immunity, consume Indian gooseberry daily.

• Apart from fibrous fruits and vegetables, consumption of pulses in the diet is helpful in curing any kind of decay (breakdown) in the body.

• Controlled use of sneha i.e.
ghee in diet is essential for physical development with increasing age.

• Consumption of red chilli in food can cause hyperacidity and constipation by reducing appetite and can cause piles. Hence Ayurveda instructs to take food after taking care of one's agni.
