Impurities in food and drink are the cause of worm diseases. Although many types of microscopic worms reside in our body, but here we are describing only the worms (intestinal worms) that reside in the intestines. These worms cause many types of poisonous disorders in our body and gradually push us towards death. Not only small and big children but even adults get worms in their stomach. Food items that produce acid juice help in the spread of worms. If any particular type of worm starts growing in our body, then it becomes visible immediately. In modern science, 'worms' are considered to be the root cause of many diseases. Whatever the children suffering from worms eat, it does not get absorbed in their body. The intestinal worms eat up whatever they eat, as a result of which the children suffer from earthworms or roundworms, nematodes i.e. Chune or Chune, hookworm, tapeworm, Tinea eleata, Tineacellium, Tineaechnococcus, Tinea saginata, hairy worm, Tinea nana, Giardia, Narva etc.
Due to the effect of earthworms, the children start drooling. Symptoms of vomiting and nausea. Appetite decreases or increases. Colourful stools start coming. The child starts grinding his teeth. There is itching in the nose. There are symptoms of diarrhoea and dysentery. Hands and feet become thin, stomach becomes large and foul smell starts coming from the mouth.
Nematodes- are usually found in children only. These worms are found in the rectum, colon and small intestine of children. The number of these worms is in thousands. Sometimes when they come out with the stool, they are seen writhing and moving separately in the stool. Children suffering from these worms unknowingly excrete urine and stool during sleep. The itching in the anus is so intense that the child is unable to have natural (deep) sleep at night, their sleep keeps getting disturbed, the child grinds his teeth, keeps scratching his nose and water keeps flowing from his mouth.
Main causes and spread of the disease
• Presence of worms in the intestines.
• These worms reach the intestines of children through personal hygiene, disorder in excreting urine and feces, consumption of contaminated water, vegetables and half-cooked food.
• Hookworms are caused by walking barefoot in the mud, because they enter the body by making holes in the skin of the feet.
• By defecating in open places, the worms reach the food/edible items through dirty water or vegetable roots and leaves etc.
Main symptoms of the disease
• In the beginning, the child suffering from worm disease feels very hungry, but later his appetite decreases.
• Anemia – the child feels weak and tired.
• Often suffering from stomach pain.
• Frequent cough and pain in moving the ribs.
• The child eats mud. • Frequent skin rashes and allergies.
• Itching of the anus at night. Worms nestle around the anus and also bite.
• Vomiting/vomiting or excretion of live worms in the stool.
• Physical health not improving even after eating and drinking well.
• Due to increase in the number of worms, sometimes there is blockage in the intestines and pain in the stomach, cramps, spasms etc.
• In the presence of tapeworm – headache, excessive hunger, bad breath.
• In the presence of hookworm, the patient child suffers from excessive loss of blood.
• In the presence of roundworms, a special type of pneumonia may occur, bloating, pain and stinging sensation above the stomach, urticaria, jumping, rashes on the skin, grinding of teeth, urination in bed, convulsions apart from difficulty in breathing, abdominal pain, bloody diarrhea, symptoms of jaundice, liver abscess, gall bladder inflammation etc. are also seen.
