Among the various types of plants, one of the most powerful plants is "Tulsi". It has been declared sacred and worshipable and it has been considered the greatest boon of nature. Actually, the Amrit Kalash came out after the churning of Amrit and Lord Dhanvantari came out. In this way Ayurveda etc. or medical science was born, but call it nature or gave birth to this plant that is most beneficial for man. Tulsi is considered more beneficial than neem and honey. There is a lot of description of Tulsi in our ancient texts. Due to this quality, it has been given the form of a "deity" and included in religious rituals and to take advantage of it, the activities of the entire science have been given the form of religious rituals. In this way science has been merged with religion.

Tulsi is the most germicidal plant. That is why Tulsi is used the most only when infectious diseases spread. Usually these are the two forms of white and black Tulsi. In our country, the worship of white Tulsi is more.


Properties of Tulsi

Tulsi, bitter, pungent, fire-enhancing, It is beneficial for heart, burning sensation, hot, bile, growth, leprosy, urine retention, blood disorder, rib pain and phlegm, wind destroyer. According to western opinion, white basil is hot, digestive and works for cold and phlegm disease of children.
Black basil is cold, smooth, phlegm and fever destroyer. To remove phlegm from inside the lungs, basil should be mixed with black pepper.

Leaves are used. Scientists have accepted that actually basil oil kills tuberculosis germs and malaria can be cured by basil.
Western doctors have told on the basis of experience that the best treatment for cleaning the intestines is to chew basil leaves. As soon as basil juice reaches the intestines, the elements stuck in the intestines get separated from them.

Consumption of basil has a very beneficial effect on women's diseases. It cures chest pain, skin diseases, breast pain, vaginal prolapse, leucorrhoea, other vaginal diseases. It does not let the labia hang. It protects reproduction and urine.

You will definitely be surprised to know that the smell of basil has another quality.
It prevents the body from rotting. If a basil plant is kept near a dead body, it will remain safe for three-four days without rotting. It will not smell either. The smell of basil does not allow infectious germs to enter the nostrils and respiratory tract and also keeps them clean. The smell of basil enters the body through breathing and cleans the body.

Not only the germs of tuberculosis and malaria are destroyed by the smell of basil, germs of other diseases are also destroyed. A few years ago, seeing the prevalence of malaria in Malaya, the government there launched a vigorous campaign to plant basil plants in parks, forests, wherever there was vacant land.
As a result, malaria, notorious as an epidemic, has gradually decreased and is now completely eradicated. The residents there have become well acquainted with the qualities of basil. Today, not just one or two but many basil plants are seen flourishing in their homes.

Many homeopathic medicines are prepared from basil juice. Many qualities of basil have been mentioned in Metaheria Modia. Basil is used on a very wide scale in our daily life. We plant other flowering plants in pots at home because not every house has uncultivated land.
We should also plant two to four Tulsi plants in pots. However, the Tulsi plant does not grow and develop as fast in the pot as it does in the ground. But this does not make any difference in its qualities.

It is very important to remember some things while consuming Tulsi Milk should not be consumed immediately after consuming Tulsi. It causes many diseases. Many Ayurvedic medicines are to be consumed with milk but Tulsi is to be consumed with Gangajal, honey or plain water.

According to Ayurveda, if a few Tulsi leaves are consumed in the morning on an empty stomach in the month of Kartik, then a person remains safe from diseases throughout the year.

When there is a solar or lunar eclipse, the atmosphere becomes polluted.
Scientists also accept this fact. If Tulsi leaves are put in the water and food items present in the house at that time, then the polluted environment does not have any effect on them. If Tulsi leaves are kept in water for some time and then bath is taken with that water, then skin diseases do not occur and if Tulsi leaves are put in drinking water, then that water destroys all stomach disorders.
Consumption of Tulsi has a deep impact on the character of a person. Thoughts become pure and sacred by consuming Tulsi. Spiritual thoughts remain pure. The mind does not get attracted towards lust. Neither sensual thoughts arise in the mind nor anger arises.
Regular consumption of Tulsi creates agility in the body. The face becomes radiant.

Tulsi is the biggest enemy of blood disorders. If blood disorders have arisen due to any reason, if poison has mixed in the blood due to eating poison by mistake or intentionally, then that poison is removed from the blood by the use of Tulsi.
Tulsi plants provide light to the eyes and peace to the mind. They create Satvikta in the environment. Tulsi makes the heart Satvik. The inspiration to remain pure in thoughts, words and deeds is used.

The success of life depends a lot on the concentration of the mind.
If the mind is not concentrated, then a person can neither do Bhajan, Poojan, Upasana and contemplation nor study. Tulsi has also been mentioned in ancient Indian Tantra-Mantra texts. Tulsi is used in many Tantric and Mantric rituals. The basic foundation of purity of character and scholarship of the students who acquired education while living in Tapovan were definitely the Tulsi plants that grew here and there in the Ashram.

Do not just get rid of diseases by using Tulsi. Use Tulsi to make your body and mind peaceful, strong and energetic. It is said in the scriptures that if Tulsi is consumed in the morning, afternoon and evening, then the human body becomes so pure that it cannot be purified even by observing Chandrayan fast many times.
The farther the fragrance of Tulsi travels with the air, all the creatures living in it become pure and pure.

This glory, quality and dignity of Tulsi is not just imagination, the Indian people have been experiencing it directly for thousands of years.
That is why Tulsi has been given a place in every temple, pilgrimage place and the houses of good householders. Even in the present situation, many Indian and foreign people with modern thoughts accept the specialties of Tulsi. Wherever the Tulsi plant will be there, there will be expansion of Satvik feelings and purification of the environment. In the Puranas, 'Amrit Tulsi' is considered to be the abode of all the gods and goddesses.

In ancient times, on the occasion of "Manthan", before all the medicines and juices (ashes), Lord Vishnu created Tulsi for the benefit of all living beings.
By planting and protecting Tulsi, watering it, seeing it, touching it, all the defects of speech, mind and body of a person are removed. In the leaves of Tulsi, pilgrimage places like Pushkar, rivers like Ganga and gods like Vasudev reside. At the place where this plant grows, all the gods like Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva reside. All the gods reside in Tulsi. Therefore, those who worship it, get the benefit of worshipping all the gods without any effort. In Charak Samhita, Tulsi has been described as curing hiccups, cough, poison disorders, burning of ribs. It reduces the increase of bile and polluted phlegm and air. In Ke Bhaav Prakash, Tulsi has been described as bitter, pungent, beneficial for the heart, beneficial in skin diseases, increasing digestive power, and curing the pain of urinary tract infection. It cures phlegm and wind related disorders.
In Dhanvantri Nighantu, Tulsi has been described as a light, hot, dry fire lamp which removes phlegm disorders and worm disorders.
