Bean Salad Recipe For Hair

 


Ingredients:

  • Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans – 75 gms
  • Black Chickpeas – 75 gms
  • Rajma – 75 gms
  • Peanuts – 1⁄2 cup
  • Onion – 1 medium
  • Soya sauce – 3 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper – a pinch
  • Salt – to taste
  • Dried mango powder (amchur) – 1⁄2 tsp

Method:

1. Wash the chickpeas, rajma and chana and soak them in warm water for about 8-10 hours.

2. After 8-10 hours, they will double in size. Wash them with fresh water.

3. Soak the peanuts in water for 2 hours. Soaked peanuts taste amazing.


4. Now take a pressure cooker, add all the soaked ingredients, 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt. Close the lid and cook till they become soft. Do not overcook them. Switch off the flame after three whistles.


5. When the chickpeas, kidney beans, black chickpeas and peanuts are cooked, take them out in a bowl, drain the excess water and add salt (remember you have added salt while boiling too, so pay attention to the quantity), soy sauce, black pepper, dry mango powder.
Let them marinate for 4-5 hours.

6. Now add finely chopped onions and it is ready to eat.

3. Onion: Onions contain sulfur which helps reduce hair breakage and thinning. Sulfur is essential for the regeneration of hair follicles. Onion improves blood circulation in the scalp, which leads to hair growth.

4. Black pepper: Black pepper is rich in vitamin A, iron, and antioxidants like flavonoids and carotenoids. These essential nutrients present in black pepper strengthen and protect hair.
