Crunchy Chocolate Oats Drops For Hair Recipe

 


Ingredients:

  • Dark chocolate compound - 100 grams
  • Oats - 1 cup
  • Chopped almonds - 1/4 cup
  • Chopped walnuts - 1/4 cup
  • Marie biscuits-3
  • Milk powder-15 grams
  • Milk-50 ml
  • Cup size in this recipe - 200 ml cup

Method:

1. Heat several inches of water in a vessel and place another bowl containing chocolate on top of it.

2. Keep stirring occasionally and allow the chocolate in the bowl to melt.

3. When the chocolate is completely melted, remove it from the flame.

4. Add milk powder and milk to it and keep stirring till it reaches a smooth consistency.
Keep it aside to cool for a few minutes.

5. Now take a thick bottom pan. Heat it. Once hot, reduce the flame to medium and add oats, almonds and walnuts to it. Stir slowly. Keep stirring, else the oats will start burning.
After two minutes add Marie biscuit pieces to the pan.

6. Roast till it smells good and turns slightly brown. Switch off the flame and keep the pan aside. Let it cool.

7. When the mixture cools down, add roasted oats, almonds, walnuts and biscuits to the melted chocolate, mix them well. The chocolate should be well coated over all the ingredients.

8. Pour this mixture on a plate and flatten it with the help of a spatula. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters while it is still hot.

9. Refrigerate for 2 hours and delicious crunchy chocolate oats drops are ready to eat.

Tips: Never try to melt chocolate on direct flame; this will burn the chocolate. Always use a double boiler. * The dark chocolate compound already contains sugar, so there is no need to add more sugar. * Do not add the oats mixture to the melted chocolate while it is still hot. The oats will become soft and lose their crunchiness.
