There are various types of Ayurvedic holy basil (Tusli) remedies for nose and ear related diseases. In this article we are telling about Ayurvedic holy basil (Tulsi) remedies for nose and ear diseases.
1. Nosebleed
Causes and symptoms:Nosebleed occurs due to sudden injury to the nose, injury to the brain, increased blood pressure, chronic cold, lack of blood in the body, high fever etc. This disease occurs more in summers. Usually, nosebleed occurs due to eating hot things, walking barefoot in the sun, staying in the hot sun for a long time, catching extreme cold.
Due to nosebleed, one feels heaviness in the head and starts feeling dizzy and there is a sharp tingling sensation in the brain. After this, bleeding starts from the nose. This blood starts flowing sometimes from one nostril and sometimes from both nostrils. Sometimes this blood goes into the larynx, then a strong cough starts. There is difficulty in breathing.
Treatment:
- By grinding the bark of Tulsi and smelling it, nosebleed stops.
Causes and symptoms:
Living in a polluted environment and not cleaning the nose, due to the accumulation of dirt, worms develop in the nose.
Treatment:
- By extracting juice of basil leaves and applying it in the nose in the morning, evening and night, these worms die.
- If there are worms in the nose and foul smell also starts coming, then this disease can be cured by mixing camphor in basil juice and dropping two drops in the nose.
- If there is a wound inside the nose, then mixing the juice of dried basil leaves with camphor and applying it on the wounds of the nose with a cotton swab, these wounds heal quickly.
3. Ear discharge
Causes and symptoms:
This disease usually occurs due to measles, whooping cough, tuberculosis,
cold and croup diseases. Mostly this disease occurs in children. This disease occurs due to obstructions like dust, pimples etc. in the ears and due to cold.
The main symptoms of this are heaviness in the ear, earache, sciatica, occasional swelling of the eyelids, fever with cold, hissing sound in the ear, rupture of the eardrum, etc.
Treatment:
- Dissolve a camphor tablet in the juice of basil and poppy leaves and drop two drops each in the ear for 3-4 days, the pus disappears and the flow from the ear stops and hearing starts.
4. Earache
Causes and symptoms:Earache occurs due to cold, scratching the ear repeatedly, accumulation of excessive dirt, pimple, water in the ear, swelling in the ear, chronic cold. This pain is very painful and intense. Due to which one experiences extreme discomfort and anxiety. The stinging of the pain is intense. Children suffer more pain. They writhe in pain.
Treatment:
- Extracting juice of 10 leaves each of basil and makoya and dropping it in the ears is beneficial.
- Dissolving camphor tablet in basil leaves juice and dropping it in the ear relieves pain.
5. Pimple in the ear
Cause and symptoms:
Pimples develop in the ear due to scratching the ear, accumulation of dirt in the ear or working continuously in a dusty environment. Due to which the ear gets blocked or hissing sounds echo in the ears. Due to these, there is pain and burning sensation in the ear. These pimples appear in the form of small grains.
Treatment:
- Crush black basil leaves and bhaangre leaves, extract juice and fill it in a small bottle. Putting 2-2 drops of this juice in the ear for 2-3 days subsides the pimple in the ear.
6. Noise in ears
Causes and symptoms:Due to water entering the ears while bathing, often sounds of whistling are heard in the ears and sometimes hissing sounds are also heard. This happens more in silence. The mind becomes numb due to the echoing sound of whistling. Darkness engulfs the eyes.
Treatment:
By warming the juice of black basil and applying it in the ears like oil in the morning and evening, the noises in the ears stop and the ears start hearing clearly.
7. Deafness
Causes and symptoms:
The decrease or complete loss of 'hearing power' is called deafness. This disease can occur in one ear and in some cases in both ears. In this, different types of sounds keep echoing inside the ear. Sometimes the ear suddenly closes or it can be heard well. This disease is caused due to cold, sudden high or high pressure, brain or head injury, nerve weakness, water getting into the ears while bathing and not coming out, any ear disease, any brain or throat disease, T.B., paralysis, typhus, malaria, dysentery etc.Its main symptoms are reduction or loss of hearing power.
Treatment:- Extract the juice of black basil and bhaangre leaves and fill it in a bottle. Dropping it in the ear every morning and evening for a few days increases the hearing power.
- Extract the juice of basil and makoya leaves and fill it in a small bottle. Dropping 2 drops each in the morning, evening and night is beneficial.
