Ayurvedic Treatment For Menopause (Cessation Of Menstruation)

 


Introduction: Menstruation every month is a natural trait of women's body. This process continues regularly till 45 to 50 years. After this, menstruation stops. The state of cessation is called menopause (cessation of menstruation). At the time of cessation of menopause, symptoms like burning sensation, dizziness, burning sensation in the body, heat in the eyes, ears, nose etc. are seen. Symptoms: At the time of cessation of menstruation, symptoms like headache, heat in the palate, heat coming out from the eyes, ears etc., irregular bleeding from the uterus, patient becoming irritable etc. appear. Sometimes mental disorders occur. Treatment with different medicines- 1. Spikenard: To eliminate all mental and physical problems during menopause, one-fourth gram to one gram of spikenard powder should be consumed 3 times a day. 2. Dhai: Consuming 10 grams of Dhai flower powder with honey or rice water in the morning and evening cures the bloody leucorrhoea that occurs intermittently during menopause. 3. Sandalwood: Consuming 10 ml of sandalwood decoction in the morning and evening cures the disorders that occur at the time of menopause (cessation of menstruation), such as kalika, menorrhagia and physical burning sensation. 4. Cinnamon: To avoid the physical and mental problems that occur after the end of menstruation, it is advisable to put 1 to 3 drops of cinnamon oil on batasha and consume it in the morning and evening. 5. Amla: For physical burning sensation, heat in brahma talu etc., taking 10 to 20 ml amla juice with sugar candy or powder of dried amla with equal amount of sugar candy in the morning and evening is beneficial. 6. Beetroot: In these diseases, mixing beetroot juice in 1 glass of carrot juice and drinking it twice a day cures all the diseases related to the female genitals. 7. Ajwain: By cooking 10 grams of ajwain and 50 grams of old jaggery in 200 ml water and consuming it in the morning and evening, the stool of the uterus is cleaned. And the stopped menstruation starts again. By consuming 3 grams of ajwain powder with hot milk in the morning and evening, the blockage of menstruation is removed and menstruation takes place freely. 8. Rosewood: 3-6 grams of Rosewood powder or 50-100 ml of decoction given morning and evening is beneficial in dysmenorrhoea (painful menstruation). 9. Brinjal: If the menstruation has become weak or is not coming clearly, then consuming brinjal vegetable, millet bread and jaggery in equal amounts in winter is beneficial. Note: Women with hot nature should not try this. 10. Tulsi: Consuming Tulsi seeds is beneficial when menstruation stops.
