Medicinal Uses of Triphal Powder

Eye Wash: Soak a teaspoon of triphala powder in a bowl of water at night. In the morning, filter it with a cloth and wash your eyes with that water.
This use is very beneficial for the eyes. It makes the eyes clear and vision sharp. It removes problems like eye irritation, redness, etc.

GARGEL: Soak triphala in water at night. After brushing your teeth in the morning, keep this water in your mouth.
Take it out after a while. It keeps teeth and gums strong till old age. It cures lack of appetite, bad breath and mouth ulcers.

Drinking lukewarm decoction of triphala mixed with honey reduces obesity. Washing wounds with triphala juice eliminates the need for allopathic antiseptics.
The wound heals quickly.

Consumption of Triphala powder with a mixture of cow ghee and honey (more ghee and less honey) is a boon for the eyes.

By using it regularly with a balanced diet and lifestyle, there is no chance of eye diseases like cataract, glaucoma, vision problems etc.


It is beneficial in all urinary disorders and diabetes. Taking Triphala with lukewarm water at night prevents constipation.

Quantity: Take 2 to 4 grams of powder with lukewarm water after lunch or at night.

A study has shown that consumption of Triphala also avoids radioactivity.
It has been observed in experiments that the symptoms of illness caused due to the effect of gamma ray radiation are also not found with the supplements of Triphala. This is why Triphala powder is called a precious gift of Ayurveda.

Caution: Triphala should not be eaten by a weak, thin person and a pregnant woman and in case of new fever. If you want to consume milk, then keep a gap of 2 hours between the consumption of milk and tri.
