Introduction:
This is the disease. When a person does excessive physical labour or there is dehydration in the body in fever, the sufferer feels frequent cravings to eliminate this lack of water. This is called constant desire for water.
Use of different medicines in case of constant thirst:-
1. Aconite- If the patient of fever feels very much thirsty, giving Aconite 30 is beneficial for him.
2. Arsenic- The patient feels violent thirst and he drinks water repeatedly, but his thirst is not quenched and his mouth remains dry. He keeps on feeling to drink cold water after a little interval. Sometimes, he vomits after drinking water. Thus, taking Arsenic 30 is very useful.
3. Belladonna- The patient keeps on feeling to drink cold water repeatedly; the mouth and throat remain dry; he has great difficulty while drinking water. Thus, giving Belladonna 30 is very useful.
4. Natrum-mur- If the patient feels violent thirst with chills in case of fever, then Natrum-mur 30 is very useful.
5. Dulcamara- The patient feels violent thirst but vomits after drinking water. Thus, taking Dulkamara 30 is very effective.
6. Bryonia- The patient has to drink water repeatedly due to feeling of constant thirst. Therefore, taking Bryonia 30 is beneficial.
7. Cantharis- The patient feels violent thirst with burning sensation in throat and stomach. Thus, it is advisable to use Cantharis in these symptoms.
