Raisins are used in medicinal as well as religious functions. It is also given as prasad after worship. Raisins have all the properties of grapes. Raisins are of two types, red raisins and black raisins. Eating raisins increases blood. Eating it increases blood and removes air, bile, phlegm defects. Raisins are nutritious on the skin. It provides low fat and high energy. Raisins help in keeping the skin healthy and beautiful. Raisins protect skin cells. The antioxidants present in it protect skin cells from damage by free radicals. Raisins contain vitamin A and E which help in the development of new cells in the outer layer of the skin. Medicinal properties of Raisins For heart- Regular consumption of Raisins helps in keeping away the problem of heart attack. For this, boil 8 to 10 Raisins in a glass of milk. Now add one spoon of ghee to it and drink it in the morning and evening. It provides relief from heart diseases. For hair- Raisins contain iron which is essential for maintaining the health of hair. Due to lack of iron, hair becomes lifeless and starts falling. Raisins contain a large amount of vitamin C which helps in maintaining the natural color of hair.

For constipation- Its consumption improves the digestive system. The fiber present in it helps in removing toxins from the gastrointestinal tract. Boil 10 Raisins well in milk in the morning and drink the milk. Consume it for a week, you will get relief from the problem of constipation.

In weight gain- Like every dry fruit, raisins also help in weight gain because it contains fructose and glucose which provide us energy. Boil 10 raisins and 5 dates in milk in the morning and evening and consume it, your weight will start increasing.


In fever- Raisins are known for their phenolic phytonutrients, germicidal and antioxidant properties. They help in curing fever quickly by fighting bacterial and viral infections. Soak 10 raisins and figs in water at night. Boil them in a glass of milk in the morning.


For eyes- It contains vitamin A, beta carotene which is very essential for eye health. It has anti-oxidant properties which help the eyes to fight free radicals. Eating raisins prevents eye weakness, muscle damage, cataract etc.

In Anemia- Raisins fulfill the requirement of Vitamin B complex for blood production.
Apart from this, raisins are rich in copper which helps in the formation of red blood cells. Wash and soak 10-12 raisins in water before sleeping. After this, getting up in the morning and removing the seeds of raisins and eating them after chewing them thoroughly increases the blood in the body.

For strengthening bones- Being a rich source of calcium, raisins strengthen bones and teeth. It is rich in a micronutrient called boron which helps in absorbing calcium and delivering it to the bones.
