Liquorice is a beneficial herb. People usually use it to get relief from cold and cough. Its use is most effective in sore throat. However, the benefits of liquorice are not limited to these, but it is mainly used in making Ayurvedic medicines. Liquorice is a bush plant. Usually the stem of this plant is dried along with the bark and used. Its stem has many medicinal properties. It tastes sweet. It is very beneficial for teeth, gums and throat. For this reason, liquorice is used in many toothpastes today.

Liquorice, rich in Ayurvedic medicinal properties, is used to cure many diseases. Sweet in taste, liquorice is rich in the properties of calcium, glycyrrhizic acid, antioxidants, antibiotics, proteins and fats. It is used to make Ayurvedic medicines for respiratory and digestive diseases. Apart from this, it also eliminates the problems of winter like cold, cough, cold, throat and urine infection from the root. Its consumption also helps in curing many diseases like cancer. So let's know which diseases can be cured by consuming licorice, which is full of Ayurvedic medicinal properties. Medicinal properties of licorice Migraine pain: If you are troubled by migraine pain, then you should use licorice. Mix honey in licorice powder or licorice powder and put it in the nose like nasal drops. This gives relief from migraine pain. In cough or dry cough: Keeping licorice in the mouth and sucking it for a long time gives relief from cough. If you have dry cough, then mix one spoon of licorice with honey and lick it 2-3 times a day. Similarly, by making a decoction of licorice and consuming 20-25 ml in the morning and evening, you get the full benefit of licorice. Beneficial in the treatment of sore throat: Sometimes the throat becomes sore due to throat infection, and in such a condition the voice becomes heavy, or no voice comes out. Sucking licorice in the mouth gives relief from the problem of sore throat. Sucking licorice also gives quick relief in many other throat diseases. For mouth diseases: During the problem of mouth ulcers, sucking a piece of licorice with honey is beneficial. Sucking licorice also cures cough and throat disease. To produce phlegm in dry cough, 1 teaspoon of it should be licked with honey 3 times a day. Drinking 20-25 ml of its decoction in the evening clears the respiratory tract. Sucking licorice cures hiccups. For ear and nose diseases: Licorice is also beneficial in ear and nose diseases. Putting milk cooked with licorice and raisins in the ear gives relief in ear diseases. Mixing 3-3 grams of liquorice and shundi with six small cardamoms, 25 grams of sugar candy, making a decoction and putting 1-2 drops in the nose gives relief from nose diseases. For heart diseases: Licorice is also beneficial in heart diseases. Mixing 3-5 grams of kutki powder and consuming it regularly with 15-20 grams of sugar candy water every day is beneficial in heart diseases. Its consumption also gives relief in stomach diseases. Relief from stomach pain: Due to wrong eating habits or improper digestion of the food eaten, stomach cramps and pain start. To get relief from this, mix one spoon of liquorice powder or liquorice powder with honey and consume it three times a day. It gives relief from stomach and intestinal cramps and pain. For skin diseases: It is also beneficial for skin diseases. Applying liquorice paste on pimples cures them quickly. Grinding liquorice and sesame and mixing ghee in it and applying it on the wound heals the wound. In hair growth: Licorice is also used to nourish and grow hair properly. Washing hair with liquorice decoction powder helps in hair growth. Similarly, grinding liquorice and sesame in buffalo milk and applying it on the head stops hair fall. In eye diseases: Washing eyes with liquorice decoction cures eye diseases. Mixing equal quantity of fennel powder in liquorice powder and consuming one spoon in the evening relieves irritation in the eyes and also improves eyesight. Grinding liquorice in water and soaking cotton in it and tying it on the eyes removes redness around the eyes.
