Bathua is a vegetable whose qualities are unknown to most people. This small looking green plant is very beneficial, its consumption in winter helps in keeping many diseases away. Medicinal properties of Bathua
Bathua is very effective in relieving constipation. It is very beneficial in arthritis, paralysis, gas problems.
Bathua leaves reduce mouth ulcers.
Chewing raw Bathua is beneficial in bad breath and pyorrhea.
Boil Bathua in water and wash the head with its water, it increases moisture in the hair.
Eating Bathua is also beneficial for health problems like loss of appetite, late digestion of food, sour belching.
Chewing raw Bathua leaves is beneficial in bad breath, pyorrhea and other teeth related problems.
Take juice of Bathua and Giloy and mix both in limited quantity, then take 25-30 grams of this mixture twice a day. It will be beneficial.
If Bathua is eaten with juice of 4-5 Neem leaves, then the blood gets purified from inside. Also, the blood circulation remains fine.
If children are fed Bathua continuously for a few days, the worms in their stomach die. Bathua is also beneficial for stomach ache.
Boiling Bathua and drinking its juice and eating it by making vegetable, gives relief from skin diseases like white spots, boils, itching. Besides this, grind Bathua leaves and extract its juice. Now mix half a cup of sesame oil in 2 cups of juice and cook it on low flame. Drink its water.
