Eyes are the senses due to which we can see things. Eyes are the most important sense organs among all the sense organs of our body. Without eyes, we become unable to do any work. Due to working for many hours continuously, lack of sleep or always staring at the mobile-computer, people are starting to wear glasses at a young age these days. But there are many remedies in Ayurveda that can reduce the number of glasses or even remove glasses by increasing eyesight. Dr. Pratap Chauhan, Director of Jeeva Ayurveda, Delhi, is telling 10 natural tips to increase eyesight:

Amla - Soak dry amla in water overnight, filter this water in the morning and wash your eyes with it.
Triphala - Soak Triphala in water at night and wash your eyes with this water in the morning.
Cumin - Grind cumin and sugar candy in equal quantities and take it regularly with one teaspoon of ghee.
Cardamom - Grind three or four green cardamoms with one teaspoon of fennel and drink it regularly with a glass of milk.
Fennel – Grind one teaspoon fennel, two almonds and half teaspoon sugar candy and take it with a glass of milk before going to bed.
Almonds – Soak six to seven almonds in water regularly at night and eat them in the morning after removing the peel.
Desi Ghee – Massage the temples with Desi Ghee for 5-10 minutes daily with light hands, this will improve eyesight.
Carrot – Vitamin A is found in it, eating it regularly or drinking its juice improves eyesight.
Mustard – Massage the soles with mustard oil regularly before going to bed at night.
Green Tea – Drink two or three cups of green tea regularly throughout the day, the antioxidants present in it keep the eyes healthy.
