Properties Of Parwal And Ayurvedic Treatments

 


Introduction

The fruit of Parwal is shaped like Kunduru. Compared to other fruits, Parwal's greens are a special diet. It is found in large quantities in Assam, West Bengal, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Properties

It is a digestive, beneficial for the heart, semen enhancer (increases sperm count), Agnideepak (increases digestion), blood disorder (blood disorder), cough, fever, tridosha (phlegm, bile and phlegm) and worm destroyer.
The root of Parwal cleanses the stomach. Using Parwal cures bilious fever, chronic fever, jaundice, swelling and stomach diseases. Eating Parwal vegetable increases the process of digestion. Parwal vegetable fried in ghee is nutritious. The decoction of sky blue and thin bitter Parwal removes poison. Applying it on baldness of the head is also beneficial.

Treatment for various diseases

1. Heart diseases:

Parwal is a digestive, beneficial for the heart, semen enhancer, light, digestive power enhancer, smooth and hot. It cures cough, blood disorders (blood diseases), fever, worms and tridosha (vata, pitta and kapha).


2. Bloody bile:


Parwal cures blood disorders, gas, phlegm, cough, itching, leprosy, blood disorders (blood diseases), fever and burning sensation. The powder of its umbel is given to the patient in the quantity of about one-fourth of 1 gram along with cardamom, cloves etc.


3. To induce diarrhea:

The root of parwal cleanses the stomach. The branch of parwal vine cures phlegm, the leaves cure bile and the fruit cures tridosha (vata, pitta and kapha).

4. In Phlegm fever:


By making a decoction of 6 grams of sweet parwal leaves with twigs and 6 grams dry ginger and mixing honey in it and drinking it in the morning and evening, Phlegm fever is cured.
Phlegm comes out easily. Mango is digested and stool problem is cured.

5. Pitta fever (fever caused due to heat):


By taking decoction of bitter parwal and barley mixed with honey, Pitta fever, Trisha (thirst) and Daah (burning) are cured.
Giving water of the root of bitter parwal with sugar is also beneficial in Pitta fever.

By making a decoction of parwal, motha, netrabala, red, sandalwood, kutki, dry ginger, Pitta-papra, khus and adusa and drinking it, Pitta-phlegm fever and thirst are cured.


Decoction of bitter parwal leaves and coriander is also given in Pitta fever. Massaging the juice of its leaves on the body of a patient suffering from fever also provides relief.

6. Vomiting:

Mixing the powder of bitter parwal, bitter neem and Adusa leaves in cold water and giving it to the patient causes vomiting and the bile disorders are cured.


7. Pleurisy:

Decoction of bitter parwal is given in yakridralyudar (a stomach disease), pleurisy, jaundice and other stomach diseases.

8. For poison:

Grinding bitter parwal and giving it to the patient causes vomiting and the poison in the stomach comes out.


9. In the disease of baldness:


Applying the juice of bitter parwal leaves on baldness of the head is beneficial.

10. Boils:

Washing boils with decoction of bitter parwal and bitter neem clears the boils.

11. Skin diseases:

Consuming parwal or massaging with the juice of parwal leaves is beneficial in skin diseases.


12. Burns due to fire:

Mix the decoction of bitter parwal in mustard oil and boil it by adding 4 times more water than mustard oil. When the water evaporates, take it off and filter it. Applying this on the wound due to fire cures the pain, discharge, burning and boils of the wound.


13. Itching:

Eating parwal vegetable cures itching, leprosy, blood disorders, eye diseases and stomach worms. Parwal is also very beneficial in chronic fever.

14. Persistent fever:


Mixing parwal or patol leaves, Indrajaun, Harad, Neem, Anantmool, Nishoth and Sugandhbala and making a decoction and consuming it is beneficial.
