Introduction

Parnabeej is a long-lived plant. This plant is planted in all the gardens in India.

Properties

The herb of Parnabeej is small in size, dry, astringent, sour, sweet, cold in nature.
Parnabeej is a stone-cutter, a laxative, a breaker, a tridosha (wind, pitta and phlegm) pacifier, and a cure for piles (hemorrhoids), wind ball, and ulcers. The leaves of Parnabeej are wound healing and blood-stopper. Consumption of Parnabeej is beneficial in diseases like bleeding, injury, diarrhoea and cholera. Parnabeej gives great relief in diseases like burning sensation and pain in urination and urination (presence of metal in urine).

Treatment of various diseases

1. Eye pain:

Applying the juice of Parnabeej leaves around the eyes relieves the pain in the white part of the eyes.


2. Headache:


Grinding the leaves of Parnabeej and applying it on the head gives relief in headache.

3. High blood pressure:


Consuming 5-10 drops of the aerial parts of Parnabeej gives relief in blood pressure.

4. Asthma:

Giving 50 to 60 ml decoction of Parnabeej leaves to asthma and respiratory patients gives relief.


5. Stomach ache (abdominal colic):


5 ml of Parnabeej leaves juice mixed with sugar as per taste and given to the patient in the morning and evening gives relief from stomach ache.

50 ml decoction of Parnabeej gives relief from stomach ache.


10 ml of Parnabeej leaves juice mixed with half to 1 gram dry ginger and given to the patient cures stomach ache.

6. Slow digestion (Mandagni):

5 to 10 ml of Parnabeej leaves juice taken twice a day 1 hour before meals cures chronic Mandagni (lack of appetite).


7. Gallstones (Ashmari):


40 ml decoction of Parnabeej leaves mixed with about half gram of Shilajit and 2 grams of honey and given to the patient in the morning and evening destroys gallstones.

8. Sperm disorder:

Drinking 5 ml juice of Parnabeej leaves provides relief in diseases like Prameh, Trisha (thirst), Adhyaman (stomach bloating, flatulence), stomach ache, Asthma, Chronic cough, Epilepsy and Urinary obstruction (obstruction during urination).


9. Urinary diseases:

Make a decoction of 40 to 60 ml juice of Parnabeej leaves and add 2 grams honey to it and drink it in the morning and evening, it provides relief in urinary diseases of men.

10. Vaginal discharge (bleeding from vagina):


Mixing 2 grams honey in 40-60 ml decoction of Parnabeej leaves and consuming it provides relief in vaginal discharge.


11. Bloody diarrhea (raktisaara):


By mixing cumin seeds and double the amount of ghee in 3-6 ml juice of parnabeej leaves and consuming it 3 times a day, bloody diarrhea stops.

12. Burning sensation and trouble in urination:

By giving 40 ml decoction of the root of parnabeej twice a day, the trouble in urination ends.


13. Blood cancer (raktisaara):


Licking 5 to 10 drops of the aerial parts of parnabeej provides relief in cancer.

14. Cholera (vishuchika):


Consuming 5 to 10 ml juice of parnabeej leaves is beneficial in cholera.

15. Wounds:

In case of injury, sprain, boil and insect bites, heat the leaves of Parnabeej a little, grind them and tie them on the injured area, it reduces swelling, pain and wounds.

16. To get rid of intoxication:

Consuming juice of Parnabeej leaves in large quantity reduces intoxication.
