If you want to keep a cow then keep a desi cow otherwise don't keep it because only the urine and milk of desi cow have medicinal properties and not of any other cow.
Now you will say that desi cow gives less milk, then God has created a great balance in this country, there are cows giving more milk and also giving less milk and both are useful in their own places like the cow which gives less milk, its calves are very strong and the cows which give a lot of milk, their calves are a bit weak, so the cow which gives less milk is for the calves and the one which gives more milk is for us.
There are cows in this country which give 65 liters of milk which is worth up to 1 lakh rupees, it is not more expensive than any car, these cows are mostly found in Haryana and Punjab, those cows like the upper part of sugarcane very much, if you feed them, the milk keeps on increasing. There are cows which give 1 liter of milk, so do not despise them because their calves grow up to become strong bulls and it is not that there will be no need for bulls because when oil becomes Rs. 100 per liter then how will the farmer run the tractor. Expenses will increase a lot.
The calf of a Desi cow which becomes a bull can pull at least 3 tons of goods without stopping and the calf of a cow which gives more milk will carry 3 tons of goods but it will stop at 3 places on the way and the calf of a cow which gives less milk runs very fast, even a cow cannot compete with it. You will say where will we keep it, when foreign companies can come from outside and buy space for tractors and other machines then why can't you buy space for them.
If you rear a cow, its annual income is 2 lakh rupees and the cost is only 20 thousand. It will eat 20 thousand rupees and the income of 2 lakhs will be in the form of milk, curd and ghee, butter, urine and dung. And if the cow grows old and stops giving milk, then also the income will be 1.25 lakh.
So the input is less and the output is more. If you start the cow milk business today, that is, milk, curd, butter, then after a few years the government will tell you to set up cow dung gas plants at various places, fill cylinders and run vehicles because diesel and petrol are getting very expensive. And if you drink milk, then the number of cows will increase. If you sell urine for medicine, then also the number of cows will increase. If you sell dung for fertilizer, then also the number of cows will increase. So in these ways you can save cows and the number of cows will increase.
