Any member of the family, young or old, can suffer from vomiting and diarrhea due to any reason, of which indigestion is the main one. Sometimes, vomiting and diarrhea also occur due to cold or heat, contaminated food.
1. In case of vomiting, taking lemon juice mixed in water gives immediate relief.
2. Keep one or two cloves, cinnamon or cardamom in your mouth and suck them. These spices are very helpful in stopping vomiting as they are anti-vomiting medicines.
3. Taking one teaspoon of basil leaves juice with honey gives relief in vomiting.
4. Drinking one teaspoon of onion juice also gives relief in vomiting.
5. If vomiting occurs repeatedly in summer, then one should suck ice.
6. Taking mint juice also gives relief in vomiting.
7. Drinking coriander leaves and pomegranate juice alternately after a short interval also stops vomiting.
8. Taking 1/4 teaspoon dry ginger with one teaspoon honey gives quick relief from vomiting.
9. Keeping a slice of lemon with black salt in your mouth prevents you from feeling the urge to vomit, it stops.
10. Consuming half a teaspoon of ground cumin with water gives quick relief from vomiting.
11. Add one teaspoon of apple vinegar to a glass of water and drink it, it will give immediate relief from vomiting.
12. Do not consume solid food for 12 hours after vomiting, but keep consuming plenty of water and fruit juice.
13. Do not consume oily, spicy, heavy and difficult to digest food items, this also causes vomiting.
14. In case of vomiting of bile, lick honey and cinnamon mixed together.
15. Grind Harar and mix it with honey and lick it to stop vomiting.
16. Do not sleep immediately after eating. Make it a habit to walk after eating. Whenever you sleep, sleep on your right side. This will prevent the contents of your stomach from coming to your mouth.
17. Eating curd, rice and sugar candy gives relief from diarrhea.
18. Taking one spoon each of ginger and lemon juice with black pepper also gives relief from diarrhea.
19. Mix equal amounts of fennel and cumin, roast them and grind them. Taking half a spoon of this with water three times a day gives relief from diarrhea.
20. Eat bananas, apple jam and ripe bananas, you will get immediate relief from diarrhea.
21. If you have diarrhoea, suck a piece of ginger or drink ginger tea. It calms stomach cramps and also provides relief from diarrhoea.
22. To stop diarrhoea, add a little salt and black pepper to rice water and consume it. The diarrhoea will stop.
23. Grind the leaves of the Jamun tree and add rock salt to it. Taking 1/4 teaspoon of this twice a day stops diarrhoea.
24. Do not consume milk or milk products at all if you have diarrhoea.
25. When you have diarrhoea, minerals and fluids of the body come out with the stool. To compensate for their deficiency, drink O.R.S solution.
