Ayurvedic Medicines For Children Vomiting Treatment

This disease occurs in newborn babies when they are given milk in excess or there is some fault in the method of feeding them. It is not an independent disease in itself, but is only a symptom of some other disease. When stomach disorders develop due to irregularity in the eating habits of children, they start vomiting. The digestive power of children who do not have a fixed time for drinking milk or eating food gets disturbed and they start vomiting. Thus, this disease occurs due to forceful contraction in the muscles of the stomach. This contraction in the muscles occurs due to stimulation received by the branch of the vital nerve located in the stomach and the glossopharyngeal nerve.

As soon as this happens, the food material present in the stomach is forcibly pushed towards the mouth. When the baby breastfeeds in large quantity or sucks milk very quickly, along with the milk, unwanted air also enters the stomach and due to this air entering the stomach, there is sufficient pressure on the volume of the stomach (i.e. it gets excited), due to the mother's milk not being contaminated, due to indigestion, due to whooping cough, due to cholera, due to swelling in the stomach or intestines, due to abdominal pain or constipation or poor digestion and due to abdominal worms etc. vomiting in children is not good in any mental disease (epilepsy) etc. If the patient vomits a lot, then due to the reduction of the fluid in his body, he can also reach a critical condition. Therefore, as soon as the patient's body is seen to be dehydrated, he should immediately be given 'normal saline' or 'dextrose' etc. intravenously (I/V).

Main causes of the disease

• In a 2 month old baby- If the baby spits up milk rapidly, the reason for this is the narrowing of the pylorus. In this, the baby spits up the milk immediately after feeding.
The amount of water in his body decreases and his weight decreases.

Identification of this disorder- Inspect the baby's stomach immediately after feeding and see that the movement of the intestines is visible there.

Advice- Send such a child to the hospital immediately.

• Presence of poisonous elements in the child's food - In this the child does not suffer from fever and diarrhoea.

• Meningitis (inflammation of the brain membrane) - In this the child appears sad/restless along with vomiting. A cavity is seen in the skull.
In meningitis it appears raised.

Such a child should be immediately sent to the hospital for the best diagnosis and treatment.

• Intestinal obstruction - In this type of vomiting the child points towards the stomach. Touching the stomach with the hand causes pain and discomfort.
In this the child vomits a lot and has constipation, gets flatulence, the stomach appears much bigger than its natural size and the stomach becomes hard/tight.

Identify it like this - Give enema to the patient twice at an interval of 30 minutes.
If the enema fluid comes out without any force the second time, send the patient to the hospital immediately because its only treatment is surgery which is done immediately.
