Introduction:
Sneezing is not a disease, but excessive sneezing becomes a cause of trouble for a person. As we cough to lighten the lungs in the same way sneezing is necessary to lighten the head. If a person sneezes twice or four times, there is no need to be worried, but excessive sneezing becomes a disease.
Diseases and medicines which are used in it:-
1. Allium Cepa- If the patient suffers from sneezing especially by entering hot and cold rooms, Allium Cepa should be taken to cure such symptoms. If he is suffering from profuse sweating which produces burning sensation along with catarrh; watering from eyes without irritation, but nose feels burning sensation, Allium Cepa should be used. If watery secretion is secreted from eyes and nose, taking Euphrasia instead of Allium Cepa is very useful.
2. Nux-Vomica- This medicine is used in conditions of cold and catarrh. If the catarrh is due to exposure to cold, the nose has become blocked, mucus is secreted from the nose in day time and dries up at night. In such type of catarrh, sneezing is frequent etc. Nux-Vomica 30 should be used to relieve such symptoms.
3. Gelsemium- If the patient is suffering from much sneezing with catarrh, he is in deep sleep, the muscles of the body have become cold and sometimes the body feels a little cold and extra cold for some time etc., taking Gelsemium 3 is very useful.
4. Silicea- If this disease has become chronic, using Silicea 30 is very effective for the treatment of such symptoms.
5. Natrum-Mur- If the patient goes on sneezing all the time, watery discharge comes out of the nose, sometimes to blow the nose, he feels cold etc., Natrum-Mur 30 should be taken.
6. Carbo-Veg- If the patient feels as if a sneeze is about to come but it comes, Carbo-Veg 30 should be taken.
