Chronic Cold
Introduction: Due to excessive cold, dust particles getting deposited in the windpipe and due to heat disease, cold assumes a chronic form which is called chronic cold disease. There are two types of chronic cold- advanced stage of cold and chronic stage of cold.
Advanced stage of cold: In advanced stage of cold, due to chronic swelling of mucous membrane inside the nose, the fibers and membranes of the nose increase due to which the patient has difficulty in breathing. In this disease, there is a lot of thin secretion from the nose. Due to nasal secretion, sometimes one nostril and sometimes both the nostrils get blocked. After this, thick, thread-like thin mucus comes out of the nose, thin secretion like water comes out from the throat and nose, to remove which the patient keeps on clearing his mouth again and again. In this stage of cold, there is headache, hearing power starts decreasing and neuralgia occurs.
Chronic stage of cold: In chronic cold, the mucous membranes inside the nose swell and in the state of swelling, there is foul-smelling discharge from the nose. When the aggravated stage of cold becomes more chronic, then the chronic stage of cold occurs. The secretion inside the nose dries up and forms a scab. The mucus secreted from the nose is mixed with a little blood. There is a foul-smelling smell from the nose and the patient's sense of smell decreases.
Information- To cure the disease quickly, other medicines can also be taken in between, which are as follows: - Psorinum 30, Ars Iod 6x, Calc-carb 3, Sulphur 30, Hydrastis 6, Nitric-acid 30, Nux-vomica 30, Phosphorus 6, Sepia 30, Merc-proto 6x powder, Silica 30 etc.
Other treatments along with treatment with medicines:-
The patient suffering from this disease should make it a habit to walk in open air and take bath in cold water in the morning because this gives the body the strength to bear cold.
Treatment of disease with homeopathy
1. Pulsatilla: After a new cold, the old cold attacks again and again. Thick green or yellow discharge comes from the nose, the power of tasting and smelling decreases. Smelly mucus is secreted from the nose. The symptoms of the disease increase on going to a warm room and in the evening. In such symptoms, the patient should take Pulsatilla medicine of 6 or 30 potency.
2. Kali-sulphur: If the disease has reduced after giving Pulsatilla medicine in the disease of old cold and there is only rattling in the throat along with cold, then taking Kali-sulphur medicine of 3 or 12 potency provides relief in the disease.
3. Lycopodium: This medicine is very beneficial in chronic cold. In this disease, one has to breathe through mouth at night due to blocked nose. In such symptoms, 30 potency of Lycopodium medicine should be used.
4. Sticta: In symptoms like blocked nose, pain on forehead above nose, dry nose, crust formation in nose, dry cough, increase in cough on breathing, blowing nose repeatedly but nose not getting clear etc., the patient should take 1x or 3 potency of Sticta medicine.
5. Kali-bicrome: If thick, hard and thready mucus is secreted from the nose, pressure is felt at the root of the nose, crust is formed inside the nose, wound has occurred in the nose and foul smell comes from the nose. In such symptoms, taking 3x or 6 potency of Kali-bicrome medicine is beneficial.
6. Kali-Iod: If thick, hard and stringy mucus is secreted from the nose. Pressure is felt at the root of the nose and foul smelling mucus of black or yellow colour with a hard greenish tinge comes out of the nose. In such symptoms, consuming the mother tincture or 30 potency of Kali-Iod medicine is beneficial. This medicine is used to cure the disease caused due to excessive use of mercury.
7. Antimon-Tart: A thin rattling cough occurs and mucus is felt to be stuck in the throat, which has to be cleared repeatedly to remove. The patient starts panting while coughing, feels nauseous and vomits along with hoarseness (voice becomes hoarse). A patient suffering from such symptoms gets relief by consuming 6 or 30 potency of Antimon-Tart medicine.
8. Arum-Met: Due to cold, the nose gradually gets injured and scabs form in the nose. Due to the injury in the nose, the nose gets blocked due to which breathing becomes difficult. Thick smelly discharge comes out of the nose due to which sometimes the bone of the nose also gets injured. Due to this disease, the patient always remains sad and has a desire to commit suicide. In such symptoms, Arum-Met 6x or 200 potency should be used to cure the disease.
9. Hepar-sulphur: Symptoms of chronic cold in which the nose gets blocked as soon as cold water is touched. In such symptoms, the patient should take Hepar-sulphur 30 potency. Apart from the medicines mentioned above, other medicines can also be taken in between to cure the disease quickly, which are as follows: - Psorinum 30, Ars Iod 6x, Calc-carb 3, Sulphur 30, Hydrastis 6, Nitric-acid 30, Nux-vomica 30, Phosphorus 6, Sepia 30, Merc-proto 6x powder, Silica 30 etc.
Other treatments:

Nasal Tumor
Introduction:- When a tumor develops in the membrane inside the nose due to some reason, it is called nasal tumor. The tumor is like a pile of swollen mucous membrane. The tumor contains a pile of boils which are smooth, soft, blue in color and white in color and can move here and there. Sometimes pus is also produced in these boils, which causes a lot of trouble to the patient, especially in breathing. This disease is mostly caused by allergy, sinus disease and misuse of aspirin.
Symptoms:- When a tumor occurs in the nasal membrane, the nose gets blocked. Due to this disease, when the patient talks, it seems as if he is talking through the nose. Due to difficulty in breathing in this disease, the patient breathes through the mouth. The patient's mouth remains open and he has difficulty in swallowing thin things. In this disease, the outer skin of the pores of the nose in which the tumor develops grows. On blowing the nose, the tumor of the nose comes near the nostrils, which causes more difficulty in breathing. The patient is unable to smell anything. The patient gets headache and feels pain and heaviness near the nose.
Some other treatments along with treatment with medicines:-
If the patient suffering from this disease is allergic to anything, then that allergic thing should be avoided.
Consume more liquids.
To remove the swelling inside the nose, 1. Take steam and do breathing exercises daily.
Caution:-
Do not try to remove the tumor of the nose yourself. Do not consume alcohol and other intoxicants in this disease and get treatment soon after consulting the doctor.
Treatment of the disease with homeopathy
1. Thuja: To cure the tumor, the patient should consume 30 potency of Thuja medicine and Thuja-mother tincture should be applied regularly in the nose.
2. Formica Rufa: In case of tumor in the nasal membrane, taking 1x dose of Formica Rufa is very beneficial.
3. Phosphorus: If there is a tumor in the nose and it bleeds, taking 3 potency of Phosphorus stops the bleeding and the tumor also gets cured.
4. Psorinum and Teucrium: If the tumor of the nose is old, taking 30 potency of Psorinum is beneficial. Applying Teucrium-θ also gives a lot of relief in this disease.
5. Sanguinaria:
In case of tumor of the nose, taking 1x dose of Sanguinaria and applying the powder of this medicine gives a lot of benefit.
Calcium-carb, Kali-bi, Merc-iod and Opium medicines can also be given in this disease.
Sneezing
Treatment of disease with homeopathy
1. Allium cepa: Symptoms of cold in which the patient sneezes a lot, especially on going into a hot room or a cold room. To get rid of such sneezing, Allium cepa medicine should be taken. If excessive sweating occurs along with cold and the sweat causes tingling and burning sensation, watery eyes but there is no burning sensation in the eyes but there is burning sensation in the nose, then in such symptoms also Allium cepa medicine should be taken. If there is thin watery secretion from the eyes and nose. In such symptoms, it is beneficial to take Euphrasia medicine instead of Allium cepa medicine.
2. Nux-vomica: Nux-vomica medicine is used in cold and cough. Cold has occurred due to exposure to cold air, nose has become blocked, mucus is secreted from the nose during the day and dries up at night. If there is excessive sneezing due to such cold, then 30 potency of Nux-Vomica medicine should be used to cure it.
3. Gelsemium: If there are excessive sneezing and cold, the patient is in a deep sleep, the muscles of the body have become cold and the body feels cold sometimes less and sometimes more, then in such symptoms, it is beneficial to consume 3 potency of Gelsemium medicine.
4. Silicea: If the problem of sneezing has become very old, then it will be beneficial to use 30 potency of Silicea medicine for treatment.
5. Natrum-Mur: Symptoms of cold and cough in which the patient keeps sneezing, there is thin discharge like water from the nose, the nose sometimes runs and sometimes does not run and the patient keeps feeling cold. The patient suffering from such symptoms should consume 30 potency of Natrum-Mur medicine.
6. Carbo Veg: Symptoms of sneezing along with cold in which the patient feels as if he is about to sneeze but does not sneeze. In such a case, the patient should take Carbo-Veg medicine of 30 potency.
Growth Of Fibers Between Nose And Throat
Introduction:-
When the fibers in the back part of the throat where the back part of the windpipe meets grow due to some reason, then the patient has trouble breathing through the nose. Due to this problem, the patient breathes through the mouth. This disease is mostly found in children. Due to this disease, the physical and mental development of the child stops and the child starts becoming weak and thin. The child becomes weak in reading and writing and is not able to understand things quickly. By using homeopathic medicine for treatment of such a disease, the physical and mental development of the child takes place properly.
In this disease, medicines like Calcarea Carb, Calcarea Phos, Baryta Carb, Baryta Iodide, Tuberculinum, Hepar, Psorinum and Sulphur etc. can be used for treatment.
Treatment with medicines in various diseases
1. Baryta Iodide- If due to this disease the mental development of the child has stopped and the tonsils have increased, then it is beneficial to give 3x quantity of Baryta Iodide medicine.
2. Baryta Carb- In the initial stage of this disease, it is beneficial to give 30 potency of Baryta Carb medicine. If tonsils have increased along with this disease, then also this medicine should be taken.
3. Calcarea Carb- If this disease has occurred in a fat and flabby child and he is suffering from other symptoms like- sweating in the head and feet at night, infection of ears etc. In such a case, giving Calcarea Carb medicine of 30 to 200 potency to the child provides relief in the disease.
4. Tuberculinum (Bacillus)- If any person in the family is suffering from TB, then also it is beneficial to give 30 to 200 potency of Calcarea Carb medicine. If the child is suffering from this disease and the child of that family is suffering from the disease of enlargement of throat and nose, then Tuberculinum (Bacillus) medicine of 200 potency should be used for treatment. This medicine can also be used to cure adenoid disease. To cure this disease, this medicine should be used once in 15 days.
5. Calcarea Phos- If a thin child is suffering from this disease and tonsils have grown, then that child can be given Calcarea Phos medicine of 3x to 30 potency. This medicine cures the disease by acting on tonsils and throat glands.
6. Sorin- If the child has a cold and the cold smells strongly and he feels very cold, then Sorin 200 potency should be used for treatment. 7. Hepar-sulphur- If pus has formed in the adenoid patient, then 30 to 200 potency of Hepar sulphur medicine can be used to cure it.
7. Calcarea Iodide- If there is more difficulty in breathing due to growth of fibers of throat and back of nose and many types of symptoms related to this disease have appeared, then taking 3x quantity of Calcarea Iodide medicine is beneficial.
8. Sulphur- If the disease of growth of fibers of throat and nose is chronic, then 30 potency of Sulphur medicine should be used for treatment.
9. Agraphis Nutans- This medicine has special action on adenoids. Blockage of nose, enlargement of tonsils, other diseases of throat and ear and secretion of mucus (phlegm like substance) in excess quantity etc. In such diseases, using Agraphis Nutans medicine of 3 potency provides relief.
Rhinitis
Treatment with medicines to cure the disease:-
1. Lemna Minor:- If the nose is blocked due to tumor, swelling or burning in the nose, the symptoms of the disease increase in the rainy season, there is an outbreak of asthma, the nose is unable to smell, then in such a case, it is appropriate to consume Lemna Minor medicine in 3 to 30 potency.
2. Belladonna:- If there is swelling inside the nose and the nose has become very red, then Belladonna medicine in 3 to 30 potency should be used. Belladonna medicine is used when the nose becomes red due to blood accumulation or any other reason.
3. Aconite:- If the inflammation (swelling) of the membrane inside the nose has occurred due to cold and the nose has become red and swollen, then in such symptoms, consuming Aconite medicine in 3x or 30 potency relieves the swelling and gives relief from pain etc.
4. Merc-sol or Hepar sulphur- If pus forms in the mucous membrane inside the nose, then using Merc-sol medicine in 3 to 30 potency will be beneficial.
Sinus
Introduction:- Sinus means hole. There is a hollow place in the bone above the eyebrows in the head which is called 'Sammukhastha' asthi-gavhar. There are two protruding pointed bones on both sides of the cheeks which meet the shells of the bone of the head through the inner shells. When the cold worsens, fiber gets deposited in these shells which causes pain in the right or left part of the head or the protruding bone of the cheek. This is called sinus pain which is a form of worsened cold. In this disease, cold and headache are mixed. It is caused by swelling in the membrane inside the nose. The sinus shell remains covered around the bones of the face, eyes and nose. This is a type of common disease.
Cause:- This disease occurs due to virus bacteria or fungus infection. This disease attacks the upper part of the windpipe. Boils in the nose and allergies are the main causes of this disease. Animal dung, smoke and pollution are also the causes of this disease. Weather changes, bathing in contaminated water, traveling by airplane during infection in the upper part of the respiratory tract and tonsillitis etc. are the causes of this disease.
Symptoms:- Symptoms like blockage of nose, discharge from the back of the nose, feeling of pressure behind the eyes, feeling of heaviness in the face, headache, mild fever and pain in the throat etc. are seen in this disease.
Treatment with different medicines:
1. Silicea and Kali-Bichrom- Taking Kali-Bichrom 30 potency medicine at an interval of every 4 hours gives relief in this disease and taking Silicea 200 potency medicine once in 15 days gives even more benefit. Keep in mind that do not take Kali-Bichrom medicine one day before and one day after taking Silicea medicine.
2. Ammoniacum- When the sinus of the bone of the head above the eyebrows gets blocked, then there is headache, difficulty in breathing and symptoms of chronic cold appear. On seeing such symptoms, the disease is cured by consuming 3x quantity of Ammoniacum medicine.
3. Ignatia- Along with headache, there is pain in the temple like hammering of a nail. There is a cramp-like pain in the root of the nose. In such symptoms, the patient should consume 6, 30 or 200 potency of Ignatia medicine.
4. Iodum- There is pain in the sinus of the skull, pain in the root of the nose, the nose remains closed and the patient does not feel the smell. The patient likes cold air. In such symptoms, the disease is cured by giving the patient 3 to 30 potency of Iodum medicine. This medicine mainly reacts on the right part of the head, due to which pain in the right head, ear and lower jaw etc. is cured.
5. Kali-bichrome- There is pain above the eyebrows or between the eyebrows, the pain spreads to the sinus of the front bone of the head, along with it there is pain in the root of the nose and hard, stringy, clotted discharge comes out from the nose. In such symptoms, the patient should take 3x, 30 or 200 potency of Kali-bichrome medicine.
6. Kali-Iodide- There is severe headache above the eyes and above the root of the nose. Attack of this disease on the frontal cavity also causes headache and fiber accumulates there. Due to discharge from the nose, the skin of the nose peels off, there is pain in the front part of the head. The patient may have the toxin of syphilis disease in his blood. When such symptoms arise in the patient, it is beneficial to use 3 potency of Kali-Iodide medicine.
7. Lycopodium- There is such pain in the temples in which the patient feels as if someone is tightening the temples towards each other with a screw. The sense of smell becomes very strong and the pain increases between 4 and 8 in the evening. In such cases, taking 30 potency of Lycopodium medicine is beneficial.
8. Menthol- Such headache which starts from the head and spreads till the eyeballs or pain occurs near the eyebrows above the eye. To cure such pain, taking 1x or 6 potency of Menthol medicine provides relief from the disease.
9. Natrum-mur- On waking up in the morning, there is such a pain in the head as if someone is hitting the head with a hammer. Such a headache which starts with sunrise and ends with sunset. Headache after menstruation. In all such types of headaches, taking 30 potency of Natrum-mur medicine is beneficial.
10. Nux-vomica- Pain in the crown of the head, pain above the eyes, pain on the top of the head as if a nail is pricking. The nose stops at night but the nose keeps running during the day. To remove the symptoms of such a disease, take Nux-vomica medicine in 6 or 30 potency.
Nasal Abscess (Penus)
Introduction:- When due to some reason a abscess develops on the membrane inside the nose and when it does not heal quickly and the abscess ripens and foul smelling pus starts forming in it, then this condition is called Penus. When abscess occurs, it also affects the nasal bone due to which its cartilage and bone start rotting. Due to thick pus coming in the nose, thick scabs get deposited on the surface of the nose due to which obstruction occurs in the windpipe and breathing becomes difficult.
Cause:- This disease occurs due to excessive use of mercury, heat wounds, chronic cold diseases, injury or injury by stone pieces in the nasal cavity etc. This disease mostly occurs due to hereditary reasons or due to TB bacteria or due to abscess etc.
Symptoms:- Soreness in the mucous membrane of the nose, foul smell due to rotting of the wound in the nose, mucous mixed with blood, pus, thinning of the nasal membrane and formation of scab inside the nose are the symptoms of this disease. Due to this disease, the patient's ability to smell decreases.
Precautions along with the use of medicines to cure the disease:-
1. The patient suffering from this disease should always keep the nose clean so that the nose does not get blocked.
2. The nose and mouth should be washed by adding a little salt in warm water.
3. The patient should always consume light things.
Medicines used to cure the disease:-
1. Luticum (Syphilinum):- If the boil in the nose is caused due to syphilis disease, then 200 potency of Luticum medicine should be used for treatment.
2. Cadmium Sulphur:- If a patient has abscess in the nose and various symptoms are seen in it like- decay of the bone and cartilage of the nose, abscess in the nose, blockage of the nose and wound in the nose etc. The nose gets blocked while sleeping due to which the patient wakes up from sleep and due to the fear of stopping of breathing, he is afraid to sleep. In such symptoms, using 3x powder of Cadmium Sulphur medicine or 3 to 30 potency is very beneficial.
3. Aurum-Met:-
In the sinus disease of syphilis or TB patients, treatment with 30 potency of Aurum-Met medicine is beneficial.
If the nose has become red after swelling and there is pain in it, there is mild pain along with feeling of heat inside the nose, there is yellow or light yellow smelly discharge from the nose, sometimes dry and sometimes more liquid mucus mixed with pus is coming out from the nose, then in such symptoms, 6 potency of Aurum-Met medicine should be used.
4. Kali-bicrome:-
If there is a thick and stringy discharge of yellow or green colour from the nose. Mucus is felt falling from the nose into the throat. The patient has to clear his throat to remove the mucus stuck in his throat. Mucus (phlegm) gets deposited in the back part of the throat and a lot of force has to be applied to remove it. In such symptoms, the patient gets cured by taking 3x quantity or 30 potency of Kali-bicrome medicine.
In the new disease of cold and cough, excessive water discharge from the nose, the upper part of the nose becomes red and there is pain in it, the middle part of the nose gets pressed due to excessive discharge and the patient loses the power of smelling, foul smelling or blood mixed pus comes out from the nose, the discharge smells like meat wash. In such symptoms, it is beneficial for the patient to take 3 potency of Kali-bicrome medicine.
5. Psorinum:- If the patient suffering from psora also has skin disease, then he should use 200 potency of Psorinum medicine.
6. Tuberculinum:- If there is boil in the membrane inside the nose, then using 200 potency of Tuberculinum medicine dries up the boil.
7. Arsenic:- To cure old wound or injury of nose, it is beneficial to consume 200 potency of Arsenic medicine. If there is discharge of pus like water causing excessive burning sensation in sinus disease and along with it symptoms of excessive sneezing and hoarseness are also seen, then use 3 to 30 potency of Arsenic medicine.
8. Nitric Acid: If the treatment of syphilis disease has been done with mercury-containing medicines due to which boil has occurred in the nose, then to cure it, it is beneficial to use 6 potency of Nitric Acid medicine.
9. Teucrium:- It is beneficial to use Teucrium 1 or 6 in the case of chronic swelling of the nose, large snot coming out of the nose and reduced sense of smell. It is also beneficial to use this medicine in the case of boils in the nose.
10. Merc-bin-iod Sanguinaria:- If there is a wound inside the nose and dry mucus comes out from it, then the patient should take Merc-bin-iod Sanguinaria or Sticta.
11. Syphilinum or Iod:- If there is excessive foul-smelling and putrid discharge due to a wound or boil in the nose, then Syphilinum 200 or Iod 3 should be used.
12. Zincum or Silica:-
If the patient sneezes continuously, then Zincum or Silica 3 or 30 should be taken. Besides the above-mentioned medicines, the following medicines are given in between to get quick relief from the disease :- Calcarea-carb 3 or 30 potency, Haema 6, Psorinum 30, Alumina 6, Pulsatilla 6 potency, Sanguinaria 1x to 6 potency and Arum-met 3x to 30 potency etc. While using this medicine, keep in mind that on the day of using this medicine, do not take any other medicine a day before and after that.
Spots And Other Problems On The Nose
Diseases and medicines used for it:-
1. Apis:- Redness of the nose, especially after eating food. In such symptoms, taking 3x dose of Apis medicine at an interval of every 4 hours is beneficial.
2. Sulphur:- In case of black or brown spots on the nose, taking 30 or 200 potency of Sulphur medicine is beneficial. Using it for a few days removes the spots.
3. Belladonna:- If the nostril of the nose is swollen or swollen, then taking 30 potency of Belladonna medicine is beneficial in the initial stage of this disease. Its use removes swelling and pain.
4. Borax:- This medicine is also used in the symptoms of redness of the nose in young girls. Hence, if the nose of a young girl is red, give her 2 potency of Borax medicine every 4 hours.
5. Aurum-mur or Fluoric acid:- Both Aurum-mur and Fluoric acid are considered useful medicines for patients suffering from chronic nose disease. In this disease, 2 drops of Aurum-mur 3x should be taken every 4 hours or 2 drops of Fluoric acid 6x every 4 hours is beneficial.
6. Petroleum:- If there are blisters on the nose, taking Petroleum 3 potency cures blisters etc.
7. Ammonia carb:- If there are boils on the nose, taking Ammonia carb 3 potency is beneficial in the normal condition of boils. Taking this medicine every hour cures the boils.
8. Kali-brom:- If there are blisters or boils on the tip of the nose, taking Kali-brom 3x every hour cures the disease. If there are boils or rashes on the nose, then consuming Kali-Brom 3 potency at an interval of every 4 hours is beneficial.
9. Kali-Bichrom:- If there is heaviness or pain at the root of the nose, consuming Kali-Bichrom 3x or 30 potency is beneficial.
10. Capsicum:- If there is pain at the root of the nose, then consume Capsicum 3 or 6 potency, its consumption relieves the pain.
11. Capsicum:- If there is redness or rash on the tip of the nose, treat with Capsicum 3 potency. Consume this medicine at an interval of every 4 hours.
12. Graphites:- To cure nose diseases, Graphites 6 potency should be consumed at an interval of every 8 hours. If there is pain in the nose along with blisters and pus, then it is appropriate to give Bicrom medicine in 3x dose at an interval of 4-4 hours.
Foul Smell From Nose Or Loss Of Sense Of Smell
Medicine treatment for foul smelling discharge from nose:-
1. Merc-sol:- Yellow or green mucus is secreted from nose and clothes get stained due to the secretion. Foul smelling pus comes out from nose. Symptoms of disease increase in hot or rainy season. In such symptoms, it is beneficial to use Merc-sol medicine of 6 or 30 potency.
2. Kali-bicrom:- Foul smelling, thick, green-yellow and thread like discharge comes out from nose. Nasal discharge falls inside throat from the back part of nose, wound occurs on the membrane between both nostrils. Swelling occurs inside nose and headache keeps on occurring. In such symptoms, the disease is cured by taking Kali-bicrom medicine of 3x or 30 potency.
Loss of the power of smelling from the nose:-
1. Mezereum:- In symptoms like dry nose, itching in the inner part of the nose and reduced power of smelling, using Mezereum medicine in 6 or 30 potency is beneficial.
2. Silicea:- If the power of smelling in the patient decreases, there is a hole in the membrane between the two nostrils, the nose cannot be touched and the nose gets blocked, then in such symptoms Silicea medicine in 6 or 30 potency should be used.
3. Pulsatilla:- In case of swelling of the mucous membrane inside the nose, the power of smelling is lost and thick secretion comes from the nose. In this condition, 30 potency of Pulsatilla medicine should be used for treatment.
4. Argentum Nitricum:- If the patient's sense of smell has reduced due to typhoid fever, then it is appropriate to use 3 to 30 potency of Argentum Nitricum medicine.
5. Natrum-mur:- If there is swelling in the membrane inside the nose along with thick secretion, then treat with Pulsatilla medicine and if it does not give relief, then use 30 potency of Natrum-mur medicine, it will give relief.
6. Aurum-met:- If the sense of smell has been destroyed due to the structure of the bone of the nose, due to chronic cold or due to syphilis virus in the blood, then Aurum-met should be used.
7. Lemna minor:- Due to boils, swelling and burning sensation in the nose, the patient is unable to smell anything. In such a situation, the patient should be treated with 3 to 30 potency of Lemna minor medicine.
8. Thuja:- Sometimes the sense of smell is lost due to swelling in the membrane inside the nose. In such a case, taking Thuja is beneficial.
9. Ammonia Mur:- In the symptoms of blocked nose, cough and loss of sense of smell, it is beneficial for the patient to use 3x amount of Ammonia Mur.
10. Magnesia Mur:- If the sense of smell has decreased in the patient after suffering from cold or influenza, then he should use 6th potency of Magnesia Mur.
Strong smell coming from the nose:-
1. Belladonna:- Unable to tolerate even the slightest smell, especially the smell coming from vomiting. In such a case, it is beneficial for the patient to take 3 to 30 potency of Belladonna.
2. Aconite:- In case of excessive smell of something in the nose or excessive foul smell, using 30 potency of Aconite is beneficial.
3. Graphites:- If a person is unable to smell flowers or other things, then he should take Graphites 30.
4. Aurum-Met:- If the patient feels even the slightest smell to be strong, then he should take Aurum-Met.
5. Carbolic Acid:- If the patient is unable to tolerate any kind of smell and gets irritated by any kind of smell, then the patient should take Carbolic Acid 3.
Nosebleed Introduction:- If the nosebleed is a normal disease, it gets cured on its own, but if the nosebleed occurs repeatedly, it is difficult to stop it. In nosebleed, the blood does not always come from one side of the nose, but also from the voice box, pharynx or stomach. Nosebleed can occur from one or both the nostrils. If the blood is coming out from one nostril, then its cause can be local, but if the blood comes out from both the nostrils, then its cause can be some other disease of the body.
Nosebleed usually occurs due to heat. This disease is more common in children. The main medicines used to cure this disease are as follows - Ferrum-Iodine 3 potency powder, Millefolium 3 potency or Ambra-Grecia 3 potency etc.
Causes:-
Nose bleeding starts due to injuries to the nose or head, something entering the nose, scratching the nose, injury to the nasal bone, increased blood in the brain, liver disease, summer diseases, excessive work and cough etc. Sometimes, instead of menstruation, bleeding occurs due to stoppage of menstruation. When bleeding from piles stops, bleeding starts from the nose. Nose bleeding also starts due to stoppage of secretion of cold. Sometimes, this disease also starts bleeding due to cold, sinusitis, boil in the nose, diphtheria, defect in the wall between the nose and boil etc.
Nose bleeding can occur due to infectious fever such as flu, measles, dengue, respiratory disease, typhoid, malaria, high blood pressure, cancer, arterial or venous bronchitis etc.
Nose bleeding occurs due to deficiency of Vitamin- C, B-12, Fluoric Acid and Vitamin- K in the body.
Symptoms:-
Nose bleeding, blood mixed mucus coming out from nose to throat. Bleeding with mucus stuck in throat or nose getting blocked etc. are the symptoms of this disease.
To cure the disease, other remedies along with treatment with medicines:-
In this disease, heat water slightly and add salt to it and wash nose and mouth with it, this will remove the dirt stuck in the nose.
In normal condition of nose bleeding, taking 1 to 2 drops of Hamamelis- Mother Tincture medicine in the nose cures the disease.
Sometimes, washing nose with hot water gives relief in nose bleeding.
If there is bleeding from the nose, then keep both the hands raised high above the head. This stops the bleeding from the nose.
Close your mouth and inhale and exhale through your nose, this will stop the bleeding from the nose.
The patient should be given ice cold water on the neck and the root of the nose.
If there is severe bleeding from the nose, pouring cold water or ice water on the spinal cord stops the bleeding. If this does not help and the patient's condition worsens, then immediately make a bundle of soft cloth and close the patient's nose with it.
Pure mustard oil should be put in the patient's nose, he should take a bath with cold water and eat light and nutritious food.
Precaution: -
The patient should not consume alcohol, cigarettes and other stimulants. He should also not do too much physical or mental work.
Diseases and medicines used for it:-
1. Aconite:-
If a healthy and strong person is bleeding from the nose, he should take 30 potency of Aconite medicine. This stops the bleeding from the nose.
If the nose is bleeding due to accumulation of excess blood in the brain, then the disease is cured by using 3x quantity of Aconite medicine. If the nose is bleeding due to accumulation of blood in the brain, then 3x quantity of Belladonna, Gels or Veratrum-Vir can also be used.
2. Millefolium:- This medicine is used to stop bleeding from any part of the body. If there is nose bleeding, then take 3 potency of Millefolium medicine and 2 drops of the mother tincture of this medicine should be put in the nose. Apart from this medicine, use of mother tincture of Trillium medicine stops bleeding from nose and teeth.
3. Pulsatilla:- If a woman's menstruation has stopped and instead of menstruation, bleeding occurs from the nose, then she should take 30 potency of Pulsatilla medicine. Its use cures nosebleed and menstruation becomes regular.
4. Bryonia:- Use of this medicine is beneficial when nosebleed occurs. If during menstruation, nosebleed occurs instead of menstruation and nosebleed occurs mostly in the morning, which reduces headache. In such symptoms, use of 1x dose of Bryonia medicine is beneficial.
5. Pulsatilla, Bryonia, Sulphur or Podo:- During menstruation, bleeding occurs from the nose instead of menstruation. Instead of bleeding from piles, nosebleed occurs. In such cases of nose bleeding, it is beneficial to use Pulsatilla or Sulphur 30 potency. In these cases of nose bleeding, Bryonia 6 potency or Podo 6 potency can also be used.
6. Ammonia Carb: - If nose bleeding occurs in the morning while washing mouth or while eating, then for treatment of this condition, taking Ammonia Carb 6 potency stops nose bleeding.
7. China: - In the symptoms of nose bleeding due to excessive physical weakness, using China 3 to 30 potency stops bleeding.
8. Arnica: -
In the case of nose bleeding due to injury, Arnica 3 or 30 potency is used. This medicine is also used to cure wounds caused due to burning or peeling of the part.
If there is bleeding due to injury on the head or nose, then using Arnica 3x is beneficial.
9. Secale:- If there is discharge of black blood from the nose, then it is appropriate to use Secale 30 potency.
10. Lachesis or Arsenic:- If there is bleeding from the nose due to decay in the wound after it is formed, then it is beneficial to take Lachesis 6 or 30 potency or Arsenic 3 or 30 potency.
11. China or Carbo-veg:- If there is repeated discharge of blood from the nose, then the person should take China 6 potency or Carbo-veg 30 potency.
12. Hamamelis:-
Such symptoms of bleeding in which the blood does not clot quickly after coming out. In such bleeding, taking Hamamelis 6 potency is beneficial. In case of nose bleeding, pouring a few drops of the mother tincture of this medicine in the nose stops the bleeding.
If blood always comes out of the nose in the form of clots, then Hamamelis medicine 1x should be taken and 2-3 drops of this medicine should be put in the nose.
13. Arum-Triphyllum:- If there is dry itching in the nose due to which the child keeps scratching the nose. By scratching like this, bleeding starts from the nose. To cure such bleeding, it is beneficial to use Arum-Triphyllum medicine 3 or 30 potency.
14. Merc-Sol:- If blood comes out of the nose in a clot form and hangs like a thread, then Merc-Sol medicine 30 potency should be taken. If nosebleeds occur in children of 15-16 years of age, then this medicine should be given to them. If the blood is bright red in colour and comes out in a stream, then first give Belladonna or Hamamelis to the patient. If this medicine does not give relief, then give Merc-sol 30 potency to him. Merc-sol stops bleeding.
15. Phosphorus:- If excessive bleeding occurs due to a minor injury on the body or bleeding occurs from other organs, then it is better to use this medicine. Phosphorus 30 potency should be used.
16. Ambrosia:-
In case of nose bleeding, taking the mother tincture of Ambrosia is beneficial.
In case of dripping pain in the head and bleeding from the nose, using Belladonna 3 potency is beneficial. 16. Nux-vomica -
If bleeding occurs due to drinking alcohol or indigestion, the patient should use Nux-vomica 1x or 6 potency.
If the disease is cured by using the above mentioned medicine and only a part of the disease remains, then to remove it, use Ferrum-picricum 2x or 3x, this cures the disease completely.
Snoring
Disease and medicines used for it:-
1. Hypogenium:- If the wound has formed in the membrane inside the nose and it has started rotting due to which the patient snores or if he snores due to old swelling inside the nose and if due to such reasons he has developed the habit of snoring then taking Hypogenium medicine in 30 or 200 potency provides relief.
2. Lemna Minor:- If the patient snores due to obstruction in the nose then using Lemna Minor medicine in 1x or 3 to 30 potency is beneficial. By using this medicine, if due to any reason he has developed the habit of snoring then that habit gets rid of it.
3. Pulsatilla:- If there is a loud rattling sound coming from the nose then treatment with Pulsatilla medicine is beneficial. By using this medicine, the phlegm stuck in the throat comes out and the symptoms of the disease which appear due to the stuck phlegm, are cured by using this medicine.
4. Opium - The inside of the mouth and nose becomes cold due to which there is a blockage in the windpipe and loud rattling sounds come from the nose. In such a situation, use Opium medicine in 3, 30 or 200 potency for treatment.
