1. Hoarseness
Black pepper and batasha: If the throat is hoarse due to cold, then chew five to six black peppers and the same number of batasha before going to sleep. If batasha is not available, then sugar candy should be used. Chewing and sucking them slowly opens up the throat.
Powder of black pepper, sugar candy and liquorice: Grind ten grams of black pepper, ten grams of sugar candy and ten grams of liquorice, sieve them and make a fine powder. Consuming one spoon each with honey every morning and evening opens up the hoarse voice and makes it more melodious than before.
2. Swelling of throat
Remedy of celery: If there is a painful swelling in the throat and phlegm is also coming out in large quantity, then chew two grams of celery before going to sleep and drink a little hot water on top of it. This removes the swelling and gives relief.
Garlic and Asafoetida: Applying garlic juice mixed with asafoetida on the outside of the throat is beneficial.
3. Stuttering
Kothmir and Amaltas: Grind both the coriander leaves and the pulp of Amaltas on a stone like chutney and dissolve it in water. Mash it and fill water in a glass. Gargle with this water. Do this experiment for a month and stuttering goes away as the tongue becomes soft and light.
Practice of reading loudly: A person who stutters should read a book loudly in solitude. This also helps in stuttering.
4. Tongue ulcers
Peepal and honey: Grind Peepal finely and mix it with honey and apply it, rub it on the tongue and drop saliva on it, this cures tongue ulcers etc.
Mint and sugar candy: Chewing and spitting out mint leaves and sugar candy together cures tongue ulcers.
