Introduction:-
Gonorrhea is an infectious disease of the reproductive organs, caused by bacteria called 'Neisseria gonorrhoeae'. It also occurs in the newborn baby with symptoms of red eyes. If a healthy person gets involved in sexual intercourse with a gonorrhea patient, he also gets affected by this disease. The bacteria of gonorrhea enter the urethra of a healthy person and make swelling in the mucus membrane of that place, by that crop; the urethra becomes red and secretes watery fluid. This is the initial stage of gonorrhea which persists for 2-3 days and is known as the attack period of this disease. After that, in the second stage, concentrated pus starts to secrete and it is known as the 'Taruna period' which persists for 2-3 weeks. Now, the third stage starts in which, again watery pus starts to come out which is called the mitigation stage and it is known as the 'gleet'. It is also called chronic gonorrhea.
Symptoms:-
In case of gonorrhea, thick yellow or green pus keeps coming out of the urethra; the sufferer feels frequent urination or burning sensation while urinating; pain in the lower abdomen; the patient also feels nausea, vomiting, feeling cold or feverish, etc. Sometimes, it occurs in women without showing any symptoms.
Use of various medicines in gonorrhea:-
1. Thuja- A dose of this medicine should be given daily to remove the poison (virus) of gonorrhea from the body. Using Thuja 30 is very useful when the opening of the urethra is stuck, it secretes watery yellow pus, etc. Apart from this, this medicine is very useful to cure the bad effects appearing due to suppression of gonorrhea by taking injections.
2. Nitric-Acid- In different symptoms like- mucus coming out mixed with mucus with a feeling of pain with the urine with a feeling of a needle and swelling of the urinary tube, urine smelling like the urine of a savage, etc., giving Nitric-Acid 6 is very useful to the patient.
3. Nephilin- If the opening (mouth) of the urinary pipe is reddened, swollen, violent pains, urine smells like ammonia, etc., 3x potency of this medicine can be given to the patient.
4. Merc-Iodide - If the Gonorrhoea patient is having obscene dreams at night which cause nocturia or ejaculation at the time of dreaming of urine; he is aware of it only in the morning during the night then Merc-Iodide 3x can be given.
5. Guacum- If the patient is suffering from foul smelling discharge like gonorrhoea, ejaculates himself without dreaming during sleep at night, also comes with phlegm sputum, etc., giving 3 or 6 potency of this medicine or its mother tincture is beneficial.
6. Aconite- In the initial stage of gonorrhoea, if the inflammation comes in the reproductive organs of the patient, fever, etc., symptoms are found in the patient, Aconite 1x or 30 should be given.
7. Pulsatilla- In case of small chronic form of gonorrhoea, if the discharge is not frothy but thick, yellow or blue, Pulsatilla 30 can be used. Due to using Pulsatilla for a long time, if the patient feels pain in the joints of thighs and abdomen which keeps moving from left and right down the thighs to the abdomen, then stop giving this medicine to the patient. If the testicles of the patient have become swollen due to suppression of gonorrhea by using high potency medicine and give painful sensation by touch, then using this medicine will help to demonstrate gonorrhea and cure the pain, but even in this condition, we shall make the patient lie down on the bed and his testicles remain as tied with a loin-cloth.
8. Clematis- This medicine works better on testicles and reproduction. This medicine is given to the gonorrhea patient when his urinary tube is contracted due to this disease. If the testicles of the patient are very much inflated and there is pain on pressing (rubbing), swelling of half of the testicle, etc., giving Clematis 3 or 30 is very useful.
9. Kopava- This medicine is considered very effective in gonorrhea. It can be used when there is violent burning feeling in the urinary pipe and at the opening of the urinary bladder. In the initial stage of gonorrhoea, when the discharge is thin (watery) and milk like or when the disease multiplies from the urinary tract or large amount of mucus like thread like discharge comes out with urine or blood starts coming out in urine, etc., this medicine can be used. It can also be given in case the patient feels slight burning sensation in the urinary tube, urination in the form of drop-by-drop with pain, etc.
10. Quibeba- After treatment of gonorrhoea with various medicines, if the inflammation is over but burning sensation in the urinary pipe after urination and secretion of thick, yellow pus, etc. is left, Quibeba 3 can be taken.
11. Petroselinum- The patient feels itching sensation in the urinary pipe as much as he wants to scratch it with any object. Thus, giving Petroselinum 3 is beneficial.
12. Cannabis-Sativa- This medicine works better on the urinary tube. The sufferer walks with his legs wide apart from each other so that his reproductive organs do not rub. Thus, Cannabis-Sativa C.M. is very useful for the patient in such symptoms.
Note:-
Gonorrhea patient should remain neat and clean all the time.
A healthy person should not indulge in sexual intercourse with gonorrhea patient or if necessary, condom should be used for this purpose.
Gonorrhea patient should take balanced diet. He should not take meat, fish, sour and stimulants. Smoking and rough riding are also harmful for the patient. Drinking milk mixed with sugar candy is very useful. Especially, juice of pomegranate and thick curd should be taken in his diet.
In case of stomach pain, fomentation with ice provides benefit.
As soon as syphilis patient gets the symptoms of this disease in his body, he should immediately test the symptoms of gonorrhea in his body and in his partner's body.
