Introduction:-
Two types of problems occur in physically weak women – first, the uterus slipping from its place, which is called displacement of the uterus, and second, the uterus coming into the vagina or the uterus coming out of the vagina, which is called prolapse. Both these diseases are called 'removal of the navel'. In this disease, the patient has pain at the place of uterus, difficulty in defecation and urination, leucorrhoea, bleeding or anemia, infertility etc.
Treatment of this disease with the following medicines:
1. Aloe- This medicine is very useful in case of displacement and prolapsus with diarrhea after delivery. She finds her uterus heavy so that she cannot stand for long or walk for long distances. Mostly such heaviness is felt in her anus. In such symptoms she should be given Aloe 3. It provides benefit.
2. Sepia- The patient feels as if her genitals are coming out of the vagina. Such symptoms should be given Sepia 12 or 30 potency.
3. Fexenus-Americana- 10-15 drops of its juice taken with lukewarm water three times a day is beneficial in symptoms like enlargement of uterus, inability of uterus to come back to its original position after delivery, tumors in uterus, feeling of heaviness in lower abdomen.
4. Alumen - It is called Aluminium. After delivery, if the woman feels heaviness in lower abdomen due to excessive bleeding and in case of prolepsis, it is beneficial to consume Alumen 30 or 200 potency.
5. Rota - If a woman complains of prolepsis at the time of bowel movement or before or after delivery and a man complains of prolepsis -ani, in both the cases Rota is very effective.
6. Podophyllum - If a woman has developed uterine prolepsis after delivery or is suffering from this type of problem due to lifting heavy weights during pregnancy etc., then Podophyllum 6 or its juice should be taken.
7. Halonias - If pain is felt after delivery with heaviness in the uterus; persistent pain in the waist after delivery, mostly due to uterine dislocation, etc., it is beneficial to take Halonias 6 or its juice.
