The heart is an important part of our body. The heart, located a little to the left of the middle of the chest, circulates blood throughout the body. Oxygen is provided to the heart by the coronary arteries which are supplied through the blood. Due to various reasons, many types of heart diseases can occur such as rheumatic heart disease, congenital defects, heart failure and pericardial effusion, coronary artery disease, heart attack, heart valve disease, heart failure, stroke, etc.
Why does cardiovascular heart disease occur:
The main reason for heart disease (cardiovascular heart disease) is the increase in cholesterol levels. If there is a high density lipoprotein (HDL) amount, then they are less effective. HDL is considered good cholesterol because it removes cholesterol from the blood vessels of the heart. If the size of low density lipoprotein molecules is small, then the chances of their getting deposited in the blood vessels increases. Obesity is also a major cause of heart diseases.
To lose weight, one should exercise regularly and eat simple and balanced food. Staying hungry and exercising too much to lose weight is also not good, it has a bad effect on the heart. To keep the heart healthy, one should exercise regularly and walk in the morning or evening. Exercise keeps the arteries of hands and feet healthy, due to which blood flows properly in the body. Smoking is also a major cause of heart disease. To keep the heart healthy, it is necessary to eat ideal and nutritious food. The amount of fat in the food should be limited.
One should not eat fast food, junk food, fried and oily food. By eating oily food, along with increasing body weight, oil gets deposited in the blood arteries. Due to this, blood flow gradually decreases and the chances of cardiovascular heart disease increase. People whose cholesterol level is higher than normal should take 20 to 25 grams of soy protein daily. This reduces the cholesterol level. Triglyceride can also be a cause of cardiovascular disease. Taking soy protein increases the amount of HDL cholesterol in the body, it is considered good cholesterol. This cholesterol helps in removing bad cholesterol from the blood vessels. Symptoms of cardiovascular heart disease:
- Swelling in the body
- Dizziness
- Excessive sweating
- Rapid breathing, blueness in the skin, lips and finger nails, fatigue and reduced blood circulation
- Shortness of breath
- Pain in the chest, jaw or arm
- Feeling tired and weak
- Difficulty in holding breath, blood clotting and fluid accumulation in the lungs
- Water accumulation in the feet, ankles and legs
Prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease:
Make positive changes in lifestyle:
It is very important to change and improve lifestyle to prevent cardiovascular diseases. For this, it is important to maintain physical activity. Avoid stress as much as possible. Keep your thinking positive and be optimistic. You can listen to your favorite music to avoid stress.
Regular exercise:
By exercising regularly, fatal heart disease can be easily avoided. You can go for a morning walk or do exercise or yoga at home, park or garden. If someone in your family has had heart disease in the past, then physical labour can help you live a healthy life for a long time.
You can resort to surgery if needed:
If medicines and regular care do not reduce the symptoms of heart disease, then you can talk to your doctor about the option of surgery. Many procedures like heart valve surgery, infarct exclusion surgery, heart transplant and bypass surgery etc. can be used to reopen narrow or blocked arteries or to directly treat the heart.
Take care of your diet:
Do not eat too much fried food. Eating fast food and oily food also increases weight and this oil gets deposited in the blood arteries. Due to which the blood flow gradually decreases. Therefore, take a balanced and nutritious diet. Eat fruits and vegetables.
