Sports Safety Measures

 


Sports not only attract children, but are also a great means of entertainment for adults. Even adults become children to play their favorite game. Today, different types of games are becoming popular in malls and for outings. But injuries that occur during sports cannot be denied.

Injuries during sports are also common, but they can be avoided by taking some precautions:


• Before starting any kind of sport, give time for warm-up and after finishing the game, give time for cool down.


• Also use safety measures and equipment during sports.

• If there is any kind of pain during the game, take rest.

• Strictly follow the instructions given by the trainers.

In case of injury:

• Stop practicing sports for a few days.


• Even if the head injury is normal, consult a doctor.

• If the pain is not getting cured even after 7 days of the injury, consult a doctor.

• If the player has become unconscious after the injury, keep an eye on his breathing.


In case of open injury or wound:

• If the injury is serious or bleeding is occurring, tie a bandage of cotton or clean cloth on the wound before reaching the doctor.

• Clean the area with open injury properly and then apply antibiotic ointment.


• If the injury is very deep, then keep pressure on the wound with a clean cloth for 15 minutes. If even after this the bleeding does not stop, then contact the doctor immediately.
