The fire in our body works to digest the food we eat. If this fire slows down due to any reason, then the food is not digested properly. Due to improper digestion of food, many diseases arise in the body. Due to irregular eating habits, air, bile and phlegm become contaminated, due to which hunger stops and complaints of indigestion, indigestion, air disorders and bile etc. start coming. Appetite stops, the body starts to break down, taste gets spoiled, heaviness starts to be felt in the stomach. Due to stomach upset, the mind starts getting upset or you can understand that the whole system of the body gets spoiled. For this, one should always avoid low fire and in case of discomfort, these medicines should be used.

If there is no appetite, taking half a masha of puffed borax in a cup of lukewarm water two to three times increases the appetite.

Licking black salt eliminates gas and increases appetite. This salt also cleans the stomach.

Consuming harad powder with dry ginger and jaggery or with rock salt cures poor digestion.


Take equal parts of rock salt, asafoetida, carom seeds and triphala and grind them to make powder. Take old jaggery equal to this powder and mix it in the entire powder and make small pills. Start taking one or two pills daily with fresh water.
These pills are taken after meals. This will help in digestion and also increase appetite.

Consuming harad with neem seeds increases appetite and also destroys skin diseases of the body.

Make powder of harad, jaggery and dry ginger and take it daily with a little buttermilk to open the appetite.


Consuming buttermilk daily cures poor digestion. Licking powder of dry ginger mixed in ghee and drinking lots of hot water increases appetite.

Eating peeled ginger with rock salt before eating daily increases appetite.

Mix red chilli in lemon juice for forty days and make pills of two ratti each. Eating one pill daily increases appetite.

Mix rock salt and carom seeds in wheat bran and make rotis. This increases appetite a lot.
Moth lentils are a cure for poor digestion and fever.

Swallow one and half grams of sambhar salt every morning and drink water. The poor digestion will disappear completely.

Sucking ripe tomato slices increases appetite.

Take out the pulp of two dates and cook it in three hundred grams of milk. Drink the milk after the pulp of dates comes out. This helps in digestion of food and also increases appetite.

Take equal parts of cumin, dry ginger, carom seeds, small pepper and black pepper. Add a little asafoetida to it. Then grind them all very finely and make a powder. Mix one spoon of this powder in buttermilk and start drinking it daily. Taking it for two weeks will be beneficial in any kind of constipation.

Drinking juice of a mixture of beetroot, carrot, tomato, cabbage, spinach and other green leafy vegetables and legume vegetables half an hour before meals increases appetite.

Consuming apple also increases appetite and also cleans the blood.


Grind forty grams of carom seeds and ten grams of rock salt and keep in a clean bottle. Swallow two grams of this powder every morning and drink water over it. This will increase appetite and also cure Vata related diseases.


Soak one quarter pound of fennel in water. Then mix four times sugar candy in this water and cook it. Licking this sherbet increases appetite.

Drinking decoction of ripe sweet tamarind leaves, rock salt or black salt, black pepper and asafoetida cures poor digestion.


Licking one gram powder of nutmeg with honey strengthens the gastric fire and removes poor digestion.

Fennel, dry ginger and sugar candy should be taken in equal parts with fresh water daily, this strengthens the digestive power.

Taking powder of jawakhar and dry ginger with hot water removes poor digestion.


Taking litchi before meals increases digestive power and appetite.
Pomegranate is also an appetite enhancer, consuming it increases appetite.

Drinking lemon juice mixed with water daily increases appetite.

Drinking half a glass of pineapple juice before meals increases appetite.

Eating kernels of watermelon seeds increases appetite.


Wood apple fruit or juice also increases appetite.

Eating chutney made of tamarind leaves increases appetite and also helps in digestion.

Take vinegar, dry ginger, black salt, roasted borax and asafoetida in equal quantities and mix them. Appetite increases after eating it daily.


Take dry mint, big cardamom, dry ginger, fennel, rose flowers, coriander, white cumin, pomegranate seeds, plum and myrobalan in equal quantities and make a powder. Poor digestion will certainly go away.

Grind one gram red chilli in ginger and lemon juice. Then make tablets of it equal to black pepper. Sucking this tablet increases appetite.
