Psoriasis Disease And Homeopathic Treatment

At present, 5 percent of the population of the country is a victim of psoriasis. Psoriasis is a skin disease of the upper surface of the skin which is hereditary but can also occur due to many reasons. Apart from heredity, environment is also considered a big reason for this. This incurable disease can happen to anyone at any time. Many times, after treatment, it is considered cured, but it keeps raising its head again and again. This disease appears prominently in winter season.

Psoriasis is a skin disease on which a thick layer is deposited. Actually, excessive formation of the superficial layer of the skin is psoriasis. Heavy psoriasis disease on the skin usually emerges in the form of a red surface on our skin and occurs more on the scalp (behind the hair of the head), hands and feet or palms of the hands, soles of the feet, elbows, knees and back.
This disease is found in 1-2 percent of the population.

What are the symptoms:

The skin of the affected area appears dull, dry, cracked and thick and there is itching too. When psoriasis becomes chronic and severe, symptoms like joint pain and swelling are also found in 5 to 40 percent of patients and the nails of some patients also get affected and signs of the disease (pitting) are visible on them.

Why and who gets psoriasis:

It is difficult to give a direct answer to why psoriasis occurs because it has multifactorial reasons. According to research done so far, genetic pre-disposition and environmental factors are mainly considered responsible for the origin of psoriasis.
Psoriasis is a disease that comes under the category of hereditary diseases and in 10 percent of patients, some family member has this disease.

It can happen to anyone at any age, from newborns to the elderly. It is also not an infectious disease.
Generally, this disease appears at the age of 20 to 30 years, but sometimes the symptoms of this disease emerge late like chronic diseases. Once psoriasis is cured, it reappears after some time and sometimes appears with more intensity. It is more prevalent in winters than in summers.

What to do in case of the disease:

In case of psoriasis, follow the instructions given by the specialist doctor and get adequate treatment so that the disease remains under control. Avoid throat infection and remain stress-free, because throat infection and stress directly affect psoriasis and increase the symptoms of the disease.
Also avoid skin from becoming too dry so that itching does not occur. In the name of abstinence, there is only abstinence from alcohol and smoking because both of these directly increase this disease.

What is the treatment:

Antipsoriatic cream/lotion/ointment for external use plays an important role in the treatment of psoriasis.
But when external treatment does not give relief, then the use of oral antipsoriatic and symptomatic homeopathic medicines becomes necessary.

Homeopathic medicines:

According to the symptoms, Mercurus Sol, Natrum Sulph, Medorrhinum, Lycopodium, Sulphur, Psorinum, Arsenic Album, Graphites, etc. are very effective homeopathic medicines.
