Properties Of Soybean And Its Ayurvedic Treatment

 


Introduction

Some such elements are found in soybean. Which work to prevent cancer. Because it contains phytochemicals, especially phytoestrogens and 950 types of hormones. All this is very beneficial. These elements prevent diseases like breast cancer and endometriosis. It has been observed that due to these elements cancer tumors do not grow and their size also decreases.
30 to 45 percent reduction in cancer has been observed with the use of soybean.

Studies have shown that consuming soy-rich food reduces the risk of breast cancer. Soybean is a very beneficial food for women's health. The fatty acid called omega 3 starts protecting women from breast cancer even before birth.
Women who eat food rich in omega-3 acid during pregnancy and lactation, their children are less likely to suffer from breast cancer. Omega-3 is found in walnuts, soybeans and fish. It reduces the risk of heart diseases to a great extent. Therefore, women should keep eating walnuts and soybeans during pregnancy and lactation.

Cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy and radiation suffer from its side effects - unbearable pain, bleeding, anemia, fatigue, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, lack of appetite, weakness, hair fall, depression, mental stress due to the incurability of the disease.


Harmful effects

Pregnant women should not consume soybeans at all as it has a bad effect on the child to be born.

Treatment for various diseases

1. In mental diseases:

Soybean contains so much phosphorus that it is an excellent diet for brain and nerve diseases, such as epilepsy, hysteria, memory loss, rickets and lung diseases.
A substance called lecithin present in soybean flour is very beneficial in tuberculosis and nerve diseases. For poor people in India or those who cannot eat fish etc., this is the main phosphorus providing food item. Eating this is a balanced diet for the poor.

2. In heart diseases:

20 to 22 percent fat is found in soybean. Soybean fat contains about 85 percent unsaturated fatty acids, which are beneficial for heart patients. It contains a substance called 'lecithin', which is essential for the heart tubes.
It prevents cholesterol from accumulating in the heart vessels.

Soybean also plays an important role in reducing the amount of cholesterol in the blood. Therefore, it is beneficial for heart patients. In most heart diseases, some types of fat increase in the blood, such as triglycerides, cholesterol and LDL, while the beneficial fat i.e.
HDL decreases. The composition of fat in soybean is such that it contains 15 percent saturated fat, 25 percent mono saturated fat and 60 percent poly unsaturated fat. Especially 2 fatty acids, which are found in soybean. These are very useful for the heart. Soybean protein helps in keeping cholesterol and LDL low. At the same time, it also increases the beneficial cholesterol HDL in the body.

3. High blood pressure:


By consuming half a cup of soybean roasted in less salt every day for 8 weeks, blood pressure remains under control.
To increase its taste, you can also add black pepper to it. By eating only half a cup of roasted soybean, the increased blood pressure of women starts decreasing. By eating soybean for 8 weeks continuously, the systolic pressure of women, 7 percent diastolic and 3 percent blood pressure of normal women decreases. So you also soak soybean in water for 8 to 12 hours and eat it after heating it in the morning.

4. Lecithin:

Lecithin is found in soybean which is beneficial for the brain's nerve fibers and liver.

5. For protein:

Protein is essential for the development of the body.
Skin, muscles, nails, hair etc. are made up of protein. Apart from this, the sources of protein in the formation of internal organs of human body like brain, heart, lungs etc. are soybean, sprouted wheat, cottonseed flour, gram, lentils, peas, beans and different types of pulses, peanuts etc.

6. When bones become weak:


Soybean cures bone related diseases like bone weakness. By consuming soybean we can live a healthy life. Osteomalacia is a disease in which bones become weak and fractures occur. The amount of calcium in bones decreases.


7. Intestinal worms:

Drinking soybean buttermilk kills the stomach worms.

8. Diabetes:

Soybean is an excellent diet for obese and heavy bodied people and people suffering from diabetes. Roti made of soya flour is an excellent diet.

9. Rheumatism or arthritis:


Eating roti made of soya flour and drinking milk cures arthritis (joint pain).


10. To increase milk:


If a lactating woman drinks soya milk (soybean milk), the quantity of milk in her breasts increases for feeding the child.

11. Urinary disease:


By consuming soya daily, urinary disease (problem of frequent urination) of a diabetic patient gets cured.
