Introduction

Corn is very easy to grow and it requires less care, yet the production is good. Corn tikkas are made. Tribal people use corn tikkas and urad flour bhujia in their food.
Corn fritters and dishes are made from corn. When soft green corn cobs are roasted and eaten, its grains taste delicious and are also nutritious. The bran of dry corn grains is good to eat.

Properties

Corn is very dry, destroys phlegm and bile, increases appetite, stops diarrhea.
Corn tikkas are difficult to digest and produce gas.

Harmful effects

It is heavy to digest. Therefore, only those who have a strong body and strong digestive fire (digestive power) can digest it. Corn is harmful for those with weak digestive power.
It weakens the nerves of the body.

Treatment for various diseases


1. Strength enhancer:

Eating corn is very beneficial for the body. Corn strengthens the stomach. Corn increases blood (rakt-vardhak).

2. Method of extracting corn oil:

Grind fresh milky corn grains and fill it in a glass bottle and keep the open bottle in the sun.
This will dry up the milk and the oil will remain in the bottle. Filter this oil and fill it in another clean bottle and keep it safe and massage with this oil. Massaging the feet of weak children with this oil gives strength to the feet of the child and the child starts walking quickly. Drinking 1 spoon of oil mixed with sherbet also increases strength.

3. Cough, whooping cough and cold:

Burn the corn cob and grind its ash, add rock salt according to taste, then take a quarter spoon 4 times a day and swallow it with hot water.
Its consumption is beneficial.

4. Burning sensation in urine:

Boil fresh corn cob in water, filter that water and drink it after adding sugar candy, it cures burning sensation in urine and weakness of kidneys.

5. Tuberculosis (T.B.):

Feeding corn bread to a person suffering from T.B.
disease is beneficial.

6. Stone:

Burn the corn cob and barley and make it ash. Grind both of them separately and store them in separate bottles. From those bottles, dissolve two spoons of corn ash and two spoons of barley ash in a cup of water, then filter and drink this water.
By doing this, the stone dissolves and urine comes freely.

Burn corn and barley separately and grind them to make ash and keep in separate vessels. Drink 2 spoons of corn ash mixed in 1 cup of water every morning and drink 2 spoons of barley ash mixed in 1 cup of water in the evening. This cures stones.

7. Vomiting:

Remove the grains from the corn cob and burn them to ashes. Then take half a gram of this ash and lick it with honey. This stops vomiting immediately.

8. Whooping cough:

Burn the corn cob after removing its seeds to ashes.
Consuming 1-2 grams of its ash with honey twice a day cures whooping cough.

9. Cough:

Burn the corn and collect its ash. Then mix 1/4th of 1 gram of ground coal and black salt in it and keep it.
Licking it with honey in the morning and evening cures whooping cough and whooping cough.

Burn the corn cob and grind its ash. Add a little rock salt to it. Consuming half a teaspoon of this powder with warm water gives relief from cough.


10. Cold:

Burn the corn cob completely and make its ash, then add rock salt according to taste and swallow it 4 times a day. This cures cold.

11. Urinary diseases:

Boil about 30 grams of golden corn hair in 250 grams of water and when 60 grams remain, filter it, cool it and drink it.
This helps in passing urine freely.

12. Kidney diseases:

Boil 20 grams of corn hair in 200 ml of water. When only 100 ml of water is left, filter it and drink it. Kidney diseases are cured.

13. Leucorrhoea:

Consuming the ash of corn cob with honey is beneficial in leucorrhoea.

14. Heart weakness:


Burn the corn cob stalk from which the corn grain is removed and grind its ash and keep it. Eating half a gram of its powder with fresh butter cures heart weakness.
