A pinch of real asafoetida, rubbed in woman's milk, and put in the ear cures deafness. Heat yellow leaves of Aak, which do not have holes, on fire, mash them and extract juice. Putting two drops of this juice in the ear also gives relief from deafness and ear discharge. Mixing radish juice, honey, mustard oil in equal quantities, putting two-three drops in the ear in the morning and evening gives relief from deafness.
