Ayurvedic Diet For Cholestrol Treatment

 


Diet plays a major role in the prevention of any disease. What to eat and what to avoid when cholesterol rises? To know this, these special things can be considered.

Be careful in food

When cholesterol rises, the right balance of oil used in food is necessary.
Such a person should keep a distance from oily things. Three spoons of oil a day is enough for his health. Eat oil in different ways and in combination, for example, use mustard and peanut oil for one month, and refined oil for the next month. These are just examples. You can make combinations as per your choice. By eating oil in combination and by changing it, the body gets all the necessary fats. Olive oil can also be used. It reduces cholesterol, but do not heat it too much. You can eat it by adding it on salad etc.

Include things rich in fiber in your diet. Such as wheat, jowar, bajra, oats etc. Fiber of porridge, sprouts, oats and pulses reduces cholesterol. Use bran mixed in flour.

Eat green vegetables, greens, turnips, beans, peas, oats, sunflower seeds, flaxseed etc.
These contain folic acid, which helps in maintaining cholesterol level.

Flaxseed, almonds, beans, fish and mustard oil contain a lot of omega-3, which is good for the heart.

Eat fenugreek, garlic, onion, turmeric, almonds, soybean etc. Soak one spoon of fenugreek seeds in water.
Drink that water in the morning. Mix fenugreek seeds in sprouts, it contains fiber.

Eat five-six almonds daily to increase HDL i.e. good cholesterol. Apart from this, things containing omega three like walnuts, fish liver oil, salmon fish, flax seeds should be eaten.


Cholesterol increases due to liver disorder. To detoxify the liver, take aloe vera juice, amla juice and vegetable juice. Mix all three and drink one glass of juice daily. If cholesterol is high, you can drink two glasses a day.


Avoid these

Always try not to eat fried food. Always eat steamed food. Avoid desi ghee, dalda, butter. Biscuits, cookies etc. contain a lot of trans fat, which directly affects the liver. Avoid it. Avoid processed and junk food. Do not eat full cream milk and paneer or khoya made from it.
Avoid coconut and coconut milk. It contains oil. Do not eat too much urad dal, salt, and rice. Do not drink too much coffee.
