5. Lower the flame and add ground peanuts, roasted black and white sesame seeds and roasted dry coconut to the melted jaggery. Mix well till all the ingredients are combined.
Switch off the flame.

6. Now spread the mixture on a greased plate. Cover it with wax paper. Use a rolling pin to spread it evenly. Let it cool completely.

7. After 5 minutes, use a sharp knife to cut them into squares or the shape of your choice and enjoy the sesame, peanut and coconut chikki.

Tips: Roasting all the ingredients is an important step as roasting enhances their flavour.

Do not overcook the jaggery, it will make your chikki very hard and impossible to chew. We need our chikkis to be hard and chewy.

We are adding white sesame seeds along with black sesame seeds as black sesame seeds alone can be very strong in taste. It can also be bitter. If you don't mind a little bitterness, use 1/2 cup black sesame seeds instead of 1/2 cup white sesame seeds.
